Hello Cardinals fans. I am an Orioles fan wondering if you think Brian Roberts to the Cardinals would be a good fit.

It seeems that you don't have anybody to play 2B or SS. I personaly think Roberts would be a good fit for the Cardinals. He has only one year left on his contract, he might extend with the Cardinals as he has chances to win with them.

Does anybody know what could be a good package for Roberts? The Orioles need pitching and infield prospects. Maybe you can include Baltimore's closer George Sherrill in a deal.

If there is another post like this already, I would be glad to see it. :)

The Washington Nationals traded 2b Emilio Bonafacio two minors leaguers in pitcher P.J. Dean and shortstop Jake Smolinski for Josh Willingham and Scott Olsen.

Olsen had an 8-11 record with a 4.29 ERA and Willingham hit .254 with 15 homers.

Bonafacio was aquired fronm the Diamonbacks earlier in a Jon Rauch deal and hit .243 while with the Nationals.

I think this deal favors both sides.
