Purple Row Is this Spring Training a look into what the 09 season will hold for the Rox?

This has been a bad Spring Training for the Rox, and it just got worse with Bucholz now sidelined for some time with his injury.  Is this the way the season is going to go for the Rockies this year?  It really feels like this season is going to be a long year for the Rox.  I am hoping they can get this thing turned around, just like everyone else.  But do we even have a chance this season? From the way Spring Training has gone, I am having my doubts about this season.  I don't remember feeling like this in the past springs.

Does the fact that they have not won a single game at all this spring mean anything at this stage in the season? Is the way they are playing now a cause for concern for a few months from now?  I would really like to  know what everyone else thinks about this.  Are you concerned about the 0-7 record?  Does the Bucholz injury make things even worse, or can we fill the huge hole he leaves?

I am so excited for the season to actually start, but if this keeps going, and they start the season like they are playing now, well, it is going to be sad.

Purple Row Manny in left field?

It looks like Manny Ramirez is having a hard time finding a team to pay him these days.  Would the Rockies ever consider paying him, or is he just another high salary player that is too late in his career for the Rockies? Would they be wiling to cough up the money for him? It seems like a nice bat to have in the middle of the line-up. I may even be nuts for thinking this, but does anyone else think this might not be a bad idea? Let Manny be Manny on Blake Street.

Purple Row Going to Rox at Phillies series 5/26-5/28???

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY TO ALL

Being from Pennsylvania I get to only see the Rockies a very few times a season.
The closest I can see them just happens to be in Philly (about a 2 hour drive for me).  As much as I hate the Philadelphia Phillies, I would pay anything to see the Rox play.  And this I have done.  I will be at the entire series this year. If there are any other fellow Rowers who are attending any of the games, please let me know.  I will be looking for any fellow Rox fan that I can find because Philly is such a hostile place to be.  We need the power of numbers in a place like this.  Tonight I will be in Sec. 136 Row 1.  I imagine my friend and I will be the only Rox fans in that row so we should not be hard to miss.  Tomorrow we will be in sec 130 row 4, right behind the Rox dugout.  The last night we will be in the Hall of Fame Club box seats, row 2.  If anyone is going to be at the game and is anywhere near any of these seats, please let me know.  I would love to shake the hand of a fellow Rower and cheer on our Rox together!  And how about we keep this winning against the NL East going?  That would be mighty sweet in Philly.  Hope  you all enjoy the game tonight on this beautiful Memorial Day.  LETS GO ROCKIES!!!!!
