CelticsBlog Hate to say it, but Felger is right

Last night on Sports Tonight, Felger noted that only e few months ago the "Green Teamers" would have laughed at the notion of trading Rondo.  Now, after some whipsering regarding Rondo's attitude, many of those same "green "Teamers" are willing to ship him out of town, for what I percieve to be inferior talent(i.e. Conley, Gay, Stuckey, etc..)

CelticsBlog The day the music died-against the jazz no less

I'm still not sure last night's debacle has settled in yet, but at this point I feel capable enough of at refelcting on paper.  The last month or two has been rather overwhelming for celtics fans so it's been difficult to truly reflect on all the ups and downs of the season, but here's a start...

Although we were treated to some exciting basetball, it's hard not to wonder what could've been.  I mean, it was only a couple of months ago that we were arguably the favorites to win it all, and now were faced with four looong months of off-season doldrums.

What a horrible turn of events that started on that thursay night in Utah.  KG goes down, and beginning with the second half of that game we would play rather-well but ultimately fall short, a mico-cosm of the entire season

I remember seeing KG limp off the floor and into the lockerrom.  It looked bad but never thought it would have turned out like it did.  I guess when you see a 7-footer with a knee injury it's likely never a good thing

We should be gearing up for Cleveland, but instead we are left to wonder what if, and what next.  It's hard to get too frustrated knowing that we still have a legit title contender as long as we have the Big-3 together.  The window may be short, but it's still a window folks.   And it still looks good, especially after 20+ years of gloom and doom.

I'm very proud of this team, and Doc.  I felt for Doc last night, becasue I know he puts his heart and soul into this.  Doc cares about his players and they know that, and without that we may not have gotten this far

Danny, Kevin, and Leon-get well soon, we've missed and need all three of you going forward

Perk, Rondo, and Baby- keep it up

Ray and Paul-thanks for being consumate professionsal, and celtics in every sense of the word

And thansk to Celticsblog for unmatched coverage all year, and for undoubtedly providing support in the future

Bring on the dog-days of summer(yikes!)
