Just a friendly reminder that a couple of us folks will be watching the game from Union Jack's of Ballston on Saturday! I also watched to get a count of the number of folks looking to attend!

Trip to Nashville!

Hello everyone, a couple people expressed interest in going on a trip to Nashville for the game on 10/16, so I've decided we should probably have a fan post dedicated to it.
Transportation:
If there is not enough interest we can carpool, but I think if we get enough numbers, and the price is somewhat do-able for each person, we should charter a bus.
Because we had such a positive experience with them for our trip to Hershey, I was thinking Chariots for Hire would be a good option. Plus I know they offer overnight anywhere in the country. I sent an email asking for an approximate quote, so I'll update as that happens. That was with my guesstimation of 20 people, so it'll vary depending on the interest the trip generates.
Hotel:
I'd advise room sharing to cut costs. The itinerary I played around with had us leaving early in the morning on 10/16 from Ballston, staying overnight, then leaving midday on the 17th. Not sure about hotel costs, but if we double or triple up, it should be minimal.
Tickets:
We might be able to get a group rate with enough numbers, or we can just go individually, that way poor people like me can get nosebleeds while the rich folks can get lowers.

One night in Barrie

About an hour outside of Toronto (on the straightest road I've ever encountered) sits the town of Barrie, Ontario. When finding myself in Toronto on vacation, and having a free night, We (beta and I) decided to go to Barrie (Well, I kinda guilted her into it). I had a lot of the PPP people ask why in the heck I wanted to go to Barrie because supposedly it's pretty boring. Ladies and gentleman this is why:
(Side note: I bought that at Caps Con. After checking through all of them, not finding anyone that really struck me, I saw a woman carrying the SDR jersey, got crazy jealous, prayed for her to put it down and snagged it once she did. What can I say, I like the kid)
