I am a Native New Yorker now living so far from the city, I feel like i'm in a foreign land. I served my country for 20 years in the United States Air Force. I enjoyed watching the Knicks win championships under Red, found a rebirth in Knickism, when Bernard King led our team against the odds, watched with hope as Pat Riley convinced Ewing not to go to Chicago to join Michale as he gave Patric a visual of him and the Knicks in a NEW YORK CITY championship parade, only to see this same Riley refuse to put Rolando Blackman in the game to replace a struggling John Starks, which caused Ewing to lose his chance at a ring; then watched with sadness as the miracle 8th seed Sprewell/Gamby duo lose to "The Admiral." I am thirsty to see the Knicks win a championship in the mystical time of 2012: It would be poetic justice.!
