From TBJ: 42 Music-based puns for Kevin Love's name
This is pretty fun/clever.
Happy Valentine's Day, CH-oopers :).
Namaste, K-Love
It's Kevin Love's "Elite Athlete Workouts" on Yahoo Sports.
The yoga part is especially interesting (to me). Different teachers and disciplines have different styles (obviously), but there are a couple of postures where you can see his pretty ridiculous leg strength.
K-Love, Shawn Marion, and Tyson Chandler - Lockout Lock-IN
From Funny or Die. Doesn't appear to be posted yet.
Will facilitate for potential
Don't you just love when you see a story title, and you just *know* it's about the Wolves?
Boo to Zach Harper for suggesting Kahn trade Love though. I personally think CHers are right about how to FO sees Randolph: as a complement to (not a replacement for) Love.
Over the last seven months, the Minnesota Timberwolves have been a major facilitator around the league. Whether they’re handing out wins on a nightly basis or making sure superstar players get to teams that aren’t the Wolves, this team has been extremely active and generous.
...this is where the Wolves stand in the NBA. As a fan, we watch other teams get built at our expense while hoping that seemingly busted lottery picks can be galvanized at the Target Center. It’s become the Betty Ford Clinic of untapped, athletic potential.

Tips for my Lunch with David
As much as I love the NBA and enjoy going to the games, I have been torn about whether I should "vote with my feet" on the direction of the Puppies or renew my season tickets. To that end, my ticket guy is having me attend a lunch with David Kahn…and apparently only like 5 other people.

Kevin Love and the Royal Rumble
Kevin Love tweets about wrestling for about six hours. (The 3 most recent are not abt wrestling...I was slow on this, but I felt the need to inject a little levity, since last night's post-game thread made me want to hurt myself).
"We did not want to eat at IHOP for Thanksgiving."
I don't know if it's lame to link to an SB Nation article (that is also linked to on the side of the page), but I thought this was an interesting article on the D-League, particularly in light of recent discussions (Jonny in Sioux Falls....which may be worse than Erie, and talk of using it like baseball does with the minors).
Although Ed Davis comes from a privileged background (Dad is a former NBA player, right?), I'm not sure if it bodes well for him that his major complaint about D-League is the Super-8 at IHOP.
Noah says KG is ugly and mean
More KG hate...some of the same stuff that's been out there. I like how Noah is always willing to mix it up (on and off the court), but calling *KG* ugly? ;-)
Corey Brewer's goat
So surprised no one posted this yet... the CH twitter alerted me. Corey's twitter is sort of a nice antidote to Love's DP interview.
Kevin Love skeptical?
Sometimes I wish he wouldn't be so honest and instead just be positive ;).
Lazar Hayward - long pre-draft interview from yesterday
This is a longish pre-draft interview with Lazar Hayward from one of his (and my) hometown TV stations. Not about his actual basketball ability of course, but more of the same sense you could get from the press conference and the town hall thing. Thought it was worth sharing. It was probably early, but based on his poise/maturity and career at Marquette, I'm sure others would have happily drafted this kid.
