Brew Crew Ball Casey McGehee's Son

I read a lot of comments from the game last night about Casey McGehee's son and how moving it was to see him out there making the first pitch.  I did not see the game last night, but I know the feeling.

For the last three years, I have been a volunteer buddy with the Miracle League of Green Bay.  The Miracle League (www.miracleleague.com) is a national organization that helps organize baseball leagues for children with physical and mental disabilities.  In Wisconsin there are currently leagues in Green Bay (www.greenbaymiracleleague.com) and Kenosha (http://www.kenoshaymca.org/class_program/miracle_league.php), as well as one in the works for the Appleton area.

I won't go into all the details about the rules, but I would encourage anyone who is in or near one of those areas to take some time to check out a game.  Watching one of these children get to hit and pitch and field warms your heart everytime you watch.

If you have specific questions about the league, post it to the comments and I will try to answer.  Also, my team (the Astros) plays tonight in Green Bay at 5:30 (weather permitting) if you're in this area and bored.  The field is at Allouez Optimist Park.

Brew Crew Ball Is this pace sustainable?

I am not a numbers guy.  I greatly appreciate what they add to analysis, but I am not capable of doing that analysis on my own.  Therefore, I want to throw this out to the rest of you.  The Brewers are on pace to win 95 games.  Is that sustainable?  I'd like to believe they gained experience last year and that their hitting is deep enough to get them through the bad pitching times, but I don't know.  What does everyone think?
