What will the Blazers do next?
I have been debating with my friends over what the Blazers might do next with the current roster. There are two options we keep debating. Which of these would you choose?
I think most people would agree Outlaw is the odd man. So should we trade Outlaw to a team that will have a high draft pick and an expiring contract. For example Outlaw to Milwaukie for Elson and a draft pick. Here is a list of all the free agents and expiring contracts - http://www.hoopsworld.com/Story.asp?story_id=9031
OR
A trade like this one:

I can't wait to read the responses.
I can't wait to play Phoenix this year.
Channing Frye to Start at Center for Suns.

I cannot wait to see Joel and Greg school Channing at center when we play Phoenix. If he is the starting center they better look to score 120+ points per game if they are goona win any games this year. I don't have a problem with Frye other than he is not a starter on a winning team.
Blazers should sign Steven Hill
I think Steven Hill is a really good option for the blazers as a backup 4/5. He is another big body to throw at LaMarcus, Joel and Greg in practice. He is a hardworker and rebounder. I read this morning that he has an invite to the heat training camp. I thought he would of been a solid addition to last years team and could of help us out better than Ike did. Come Pritchard bring back Steven Hill.

BRING OVER FREELAND
I really think the blazers should make a push to bring Joel Freeland over this year. Joel Przybilla has said he might test free agency after next year. He would be a great mentor to Freeland if he did leave us. I think Freeland is a poor mans David Lee that could really impact the Backup/Center spot like Gorat did for the Magic this year. He would create a good competition with Pendergraph for the backup 4 spot. What do you think?
Why not go after Jamaal Tinsley
I think he could be a good fit in the backcourt with Roy. He is a bigger guard and is heck of a point guard. I have heard he has been working out in Atlanta and is in good shape. Indiana finally waived him and I think he will be really hungry to prove himself. I know he had the off the court stuff but I want to win. He is also a better player than Andre Miller. What do you think?

After we miss out on the Big Name Free Agents
We should take a look at Anthony Carter from Denver, Marquis Daniels from Indy, Melvin Ely from N.O., Wilcox from NY, and Singletary from Char. I thought of these free agents after reading that we worked out Sean May. Do you think any of these guys could help our team. Anthony Carter would be on the top of my list because he would help us out on the defensive end and it would hurt Denver not having him back. What do you think? Is there any other players we should look at?
Is this possible?
I would like to the Blazers to draft Darren Collison, try a sign and trade of Outlaw and Sergio, maybe a 2nd Round Pick to New York for David Lee. Then try to sign Turkoglu. Lineup/Depth Chart would be. I'm not sure if this would all work but I think it would give us the point guard of the future in Bayless or Collison, A back up PF in Lee and another go to guy in Turkoglu. Would does Blazers Edge Think? CHAMPIONSHIP???
PG - Blake, Collison, Bayless
SG - Roy, Rudy, 2nd Rounder
SF - Turkoglu, Martell, Batum
PF - LaMarcus, Lee, 2nd Rounder
C - Oden, Przybilla, 2nd Rounder
Trade Drawer
I think this could be a possible trade scenario that KP could pull off.
We rent marion for the rest of the year for Raefs contract and get a solid backup power forward plus a 3rd point guard to ride he bench. We should also look to bring Freeland over hear next year and forget about trying to get David Lee.
Can't wait to read the comments.
TRADE IDEA???
I was thinking of our team needs and i think almost everybody agrees it is a starting point guard, a starting small forward and a back up POWER forward. I think this might be a way for us to get all three. What do you think?
