I especially like #2 as Spuds comments enthusiastically "Our Number 2 play, Alex Henery, with the game on the line!" Nothing like that preseason drama.

Does this mean Juan Castillo has a better shot retaining his position? We all know "How Andy feels about Juan" and it looks like he'll still be carrying a lot of influence throughout the organization. I suppose only time will tell...

This is a pretty interesting article from Bill Barnwell at Grantland. However, I think he misses the mark calling out the OL and DL as major failures this season. He goes on to discuss the obvious areas (LB, Safeties, Castillio, etc.) but that first section just feels forced. He also refers to Casey Mathews as "hot garbage"...but that's just hilarious.

Why this is good: Akers knows how to drill home kick after kick. Why this is bad: Akers HAS to drill home kick after kick due to the Eagles' Red Zone woes.

He brings a very refreshing perspective. It's well worth the read for Eagles fans...or anyone else for that matter.
