As usual, the Auburn guy delivers the pizza.
Coleman Coliseum in the last seconds of the Kentucky game, Rammer Jammer included. Great atmosphere last night.
Cam Newton Never in Academic Danger at Florida
I've seen a lot of Auburn fans spreading this Bleacher Report post as if it were a cogent argument. I got a kick out of it, "to be quiet frank."
Stuck in the Plains, do your worst.
If you didn't hate the Gators before, you will now. Warning: The language is NSFW, and we cannot be held responsible for whatever you may do to this guy.
Tommy Deas: Talking Bama with Bocephus
I believe this might be of interest to some folks here at RBR...
Hank on watching the BCS title game: "You see these guys on ‘Dancing with the Stars’ doing all their break dancing, they don’t do nothing close to Bocephus. It was all good. When they took that touchdown on defense (in the first half), that’s when I went into my break dance."
BDS update: The lines have been painted on the field.
Bryant Drive officially re-opened to traffic today, and construction fences around the new South End Zone are gone. A few curious folks were milling around taking a look. Additional photos here: http://tumblr.com/x1xek9tn7
Bryant-Denny Stadium! Ready for 101,000+ screaming fans! 58 days!!
The UA Athletic Department has really stepped up when it comes to providing fans like us updates of stadium construction. Check out the latest on their TwitPic account.
A quick shot of Bryant-Denny's interior, courtesy the Bryant Museum's YouTube channel. Not sure what's with the C-17, but it's neat too.
UCLA football: Is Nebraska out and Alabama in?
The LA Times reports that Alabama and UCLA may be looking at a neutral-site game in 2012.
Bryant-Denny construction update: The upper deck's concrete structure looks complete. I'm sure there's plenty of interior work left to do.
USC has been hit with a two-year post-season ban in addition to the loss of scholarships, among other penalties from the NCAA.

Tour of the South Endzone of Bryant-Denny Stadium
The UA Athletic Department has kindly put up some photos (on their Facebook page) of the interior of the new end zone at Bryant-Denny.
Today's Bryant-Denny construction update. The upper deck is getting pretty close, from what I can tell.
Today's Bryant-Denny construction update. Coming along nicely.
Today's Bryant-Denny Stadium construction update...
Just thought I'd point out that THIS is the first result when you do a Google Image search for "Auburn A-Day 2010"

University of Alabama's Bryant-Denny video scoreboard coming to Legion Field
That's kinda neat. Legion Field gets a deal, and another little (er, big) piece of Alabama football history.
UA Athletic Department's Thad Turnipseed gives us a video update on the construction at Bryant-Denny.
Interesting notes:
- We're getting new video boards in the north end zone, in addition to the south end zone ones we were expecting
- The marketplace area may include a restaurant and a coffee shop. It's tough to sell commercial space right now, but I can't imagine this space going empty for long.
- The Stadium Club idea is intriguing. I wonder if they'll allow alcohol in the lockers like they do in the north Zone.
Not so fast, my friends...
Looks like the Texas Tech game is NOT a done deal because we're still hoping for successful negotiations with...
NOTRE DAME.
Today's update on Bryant-Denny...
Progress on Foster Auditorium, site of the famed "Stand in the Schoolhouse Door" and future home of Bama women's basketball and volleyball. This is the back side of the building, which I believe will be new offices and training facilities.
Construction progress at Bryant-Denny.
Stat: Duke to be Bama's Smallest Football Venue Since 1990?
I was thinking about this a while back, and rugman11's post about Duke season tickets reminded me: How long has it been since Alabama played at a venue that small? Wallace Wade Stadium seats roughly 34,000. I did a cursory search and the best answer I could find was 1990, UL-Lafayette (Cajun Field). The catch, though, is that Wikipedia lists the attendance at that game as 36,133. The following season, Bama played Memphis at Liberty Bowl Stadium in front of 34,632, but that was obviously not the stadium's capacity. Anybody have a better answer?
When Pensacola, Fla., tailback Trent Richardson donned a houndstooth hat a year ago to announce he would attend Alabama, he officially ended the recruiting announcement hat dance. Never again should a recruit play a game of three-hat monte. No matter how dramatic the decision, it will never look cooler than Richardson's headgear pledge.
...It's time the nation's blue-chippers got a little more creative. So here are some tips in case players making announcements today want to make any last-minute alterations to their signing announcements.
The Tuscaloosa News reports on the mysterious "Don't Mess with Texas" billboards
Apparently, it's some kind of viral campaign...? Seems to have gotten our attention, anyway. Click through for a big photo of one of the billboards.
ed. (by Todd) - To paraphrase Mr. Burns, "Oooo the Texans are scaring me."
The front entrance to the Mal Moore Athletic Facility. Looks like they have a beautiful new addition in the window there. Roll Tide.
