1970 Cotton Bowl
I was just reading the thing about villains in college football on ESPN. In the article, it talks about Dick Nixon being hated by PSU fans because he proclaimed the winner of Arkansas-Texas the winner of NC. Also is says, that PSU turned down the opportunity to play Texas in the Cotton Bow. Does anyone know the reason PSU turned down this chance? I'm a life long PSU fan and grew up hating Nixon, one of many reasons, but never heard anything about PSU having the chance to face Texas.
Pittsburgh
Well, I'm going home this weekend, so i can watch the game with my dad. And I just found out that ABC isn't carrying the Texas/OU game in Pittsburgh! I'm assuming that its because of that God damned Big East contract they have. Now i have to either watch it on espn360.com or shell out the money for Gameplan. This is ridiculous! Just needed to vent that. Guess I'l be going to a bar or something.
Go State!
Radio
Does anyone know if the radio broadcast is on with the TV broadcast? Or does it lag badly. I as because I really don't want to listen to Mike Patrick this Saturday, all due respect to Todd Blacklidge. I would much prefer to hear Steve and Jack.
p.s. did anyone notice how badly done last weekends game was by ESPN? I mean we all know Andre Ware and that other guy hate on PSU all the time anyway. But they hardly ever talked about the game. And I swear the cameras missed like at least 8 plays because they were focused on the sidelines or the fans or something. I just thought it was poorly done. At least when Pam Ward and whats his face (the old LB from OSU) do the game, they talk about the game.
If this guy got hit by a bus, I'd be cool with it

Please look at this guys picture, then ask yourself, how can he be writing sports?!?! And while we're on it, why does cbs hate Penn State so much, every time I turn around they're bashing us. At least ESPN gave us some props during the Oregon State game tonight. Wow i hate them! Whatever happened to journalistic integrity?
