Durant now part of the "Thunder"

Not sure if this is final or not, but OKC news reported yesterday that the new NBA team will be called the "Thunder".  I'm not a fan.  If Duncan is a Spur and McGrady is a Rocket, what does that make Durant?  A Thunderer?  Sweet.  To me that sounds like the name of a WNBA team, or something equally ridiculous.

Mack and JoePa

Obviously, i'm a Longhorn fan, and I have a ton of respect for Mack, as a football coach and a person.  I also currently go to Penn State, and JoePa has really grown on me.  His house is right near the law school, and I see him pretty frequently leaving his house - he never fails to wave and flash a smile.

Point being, I read that JoePa was flying to Austin on Friday to have dinner with Mack (in the espn article about Joe going to the hospital yesterday).  I have heard random tidbits here and there over the years about how they were friends, but was wondering if some of you could shed some light on their relationship.  Did they coach together at some point?  Just mutual respect between great coaches?
