Why does it happen to us?

Why can't we close the door on the critics and haters? Why do we go so conservative on the road? Why does everything need to be so difficult? If you can, help me cope and vent my Kool-Aid drinking frustions. Get ready for all the "I told you so" reporters and haters stating this is why we don't deserve respect.

1.With a 20+ MPH wind, we attempt to begin the game passing. Was it to give DC confidence? Is Iowa that vulnerable from an air attack?

2. We march down the field. Running the ball the from the "New HD Offense" into the Red Zone. Once inside the 5 yd line, here comes the 3 TE's.

"Example" After recieving the ball on the 2 yd line following a pass interference penalty in the End Zone, we line up the 3 TE's and pound the ball between the tackles with no success. We settle for a FG after having a 1st and goal from the 2.

How many times have we seen this? How many time has it failed? How many times do we run the similar play back to back?

Lloyd Carr once said he didn't have to watch tapes of Penn State. We run the same plays from year to year. He was right?

3. It was apparent the coaches felt they needed to protect DC. I respect that. Head injuries are serious. So, we protected him by having DWill run all the typical QB draws. Did you know that DWill was going to run after a while? They did change it up by throwing to a TE down the middle of the field. Passing to the TE, that is an entirely different issue they need to address.

If you need to run the QB with DWill, then maybe your QB isn't healthy.

So. If DC needed protected, he probably wasn't 100%. I wonder if Devlin may have been a better choice for this game. Not saying DC is to lose his starting position. #17 earned the startring role. It is his, as long as he is healthy.

4. Did we select to be going into the wind in the 4th qtr? If so, why?

I know I'm whining about losing. I do know they played better than us and PSU was OUT-COACHED.

THANKS FOR GIVING ME THE OPPORTUNITY TO VENT. I FEEL BETTER!

The game is over. Let us move on. We are all dissapointed at the performance of the TEAM. Yes, we all have opinion as we do A**holes. Whether or not a player did this or that is truely irrelevant.

All PSU fans had high expectations for this team. WE ARE disappointed. WE ARE angry. AT this time there is nothin to do but pay our dues and look forward to the remainder of the season.

Purdue is coming in next week. We still have Temple and MSU. A bowl game in January if the TEAM performs like they are capable of.

I am more dissapointed in the fan base and students of PSU than I am of the team. The actions around different tailgates was unexcusable. The harassment of opposing fans was embarassing. The Ohio chant that begins in the student section is uncalled for. I also watched the YouTube video posted on EDSBS. The"PIKE" frat should be removed from the campus and the individuals should be prosecuted to the extent of the law.

I am not a student or an Alum. I am a fan. I remember as a kid watching John Capaletti. I have seen the program grow from the early seventies to what it is now. I have watched games from the same Section, Row, and Seat. since the mid seventies. I like Penn State football for those who came before these kids. I will like Penn State footabll for what the program stands for.

Not every player will perform to the high expectations the fans demand. They are kids. They are trying their best. The university has put the coaches in charge of developing these player into the athletes we expect.

Everyone needs to reflect on why they like PSU Football. Learn to accept the disappointments

Things we can not change!
 Anthony Morelli
 Joe Paterno
 Conservative Playcalling
 Jay Paterno
Forget about them.

Let's work on being fans.
