I'm a minority at H&R. I support Matt Painter and Morgan Burke. Unlike many of our commentators. I don't believe either of these men is a double-agent from Bloomington, sent to sabotage all things Purdue and set us back years. But, again, that's just me.

On Oct. 7, 2000, my life was forever changed when Travis Dorsch threw up the bird at the Purdue's student section after beating Michigan.

On Nov. 30, 2013, my life was forever changed when Marcus Hall threw up the double-bird to the stands at the Big House.

It's to the point where any football game that finishes without someone throwing up the bird leaves me with an empty feeling. I may have a problem.

Oh yeah, I also am a former Exponent sports editor and I also covered Purdue men's basketball for a couple Northern Indiana newspapers for a short while. Not sure any of that is important, but threw it in there anyway.
