Just going to leave this here. Found in Sports Illustrated and Hlas' post on the Gazette.
For all of you asking for the Ole Miss Bear yesterday, here it is.
Ross, Just when you think South Dakota couldn't get weirder
You are the Coyotes. You put a Pro-Coyote billboard in Jackrabbit country. Coyote hunting is popular here. You seriously didn't think this was going to happen?
PitS is Doing a Research Paper
I'm new at this so bear with me. But I'm doing a "research" paper for Creative Writing (ENG 283). This is a different research paper from anything I've done so I need your help. Our research is on a topic of our choosing and needs to have fact and testimonies while still being written in a creative form. So I thought it'd be neat to write about Kinnick Stadium and Iowa Football in general and to do that with the research project I thought it'd be even better to ask the commentariat about your personal experiences with Iowa Football.
When was your first game at Kinnick? If it wasn't Kinnick, where was it? (Mine was Kansas St @ Arrow Head)
What is your fondest moment about Kinnick? Same question for Iowa in general?
i.e. Greatest game. Most vivd memory. etc
What does Iowa football mean to you?
How did you become an Iowa fan?
Any other details you would like to include would be great. Feel free to answer all the questions, one or none. Any help is greatly appreciated and please be as detailed as possible. I'm sure once this is all written I will post it as a fanpost. Paper is due the 21 so please take your time and fire away! Thank you all. Go Hawks.
P.S. If you have a long story or anything you'd like to keep anonymous email me at grforbes@jacks.sdstate.edu. Also commentariat, I will use screen names unless specified. And let me know if this is just a horrible idea so I don't waste my time on it.

No really, Dan Persa has a Heisman website
Seriously. This does exist.
An Erb's Palsy Sufferer and Buccaneers Fan Take On Clayborn
Fantastic piece from Bucs Nation. Really inspirational and does a great job of easing peoples' concerns about his health condition.
Penn St to Use Retro Unis for '11
Because apparently the current ones are too flashy.
Iowa OL Dan Heiar Hospitalized After Car Crash
Not a whole lot to be told about this. Just hope the kid is alright.
(EDIT: Not many details yet. We wish him a speedy recovery. -- RB)
Hyde to play Safety
Micah Hyde is moving to free safety. This leaves the valid question of: Who in the world is going to play corner? If you say Castillo, I might have to fight you.
Former Michigan QB Threet Quits Due to Concussions
Concussions force former Michigan quarterback, Steven Threet, to call it a career. Hate to see something like that force a kid out of football but if it means staying healthy then it's probably best.
Treadwell to Miami (OH)
Spartan O-coordinator accepted the head coaching job at Miami. As a member of the Big 10, always wish him the best. Treadwell will be taking over for new Pitt coach Mike Haywood.
100 Greatest Offenses of Cam Newton
I posted this in the afternoon thread but I feel it is my duty to BHGP to share. So this is my present to you.
Bacon Pancakes Have Met Their Match
I know the baconcakes were a happy-enducing idea. But I think I just found its trump card. This is not sports or Hawkeye related but it is our duty as Americans to view this heart pummeling concoction. Incidentally, Stumbleupon may be the greatest website ever. Outside of BHGP of course.
Rittenberg Calls All Readers to Aid in Big 10 Division Naming
I really wouldn't have posted this but if you read in the first set of comments (I know that reading ESPN comments is bad for your health) that there is a small support for naming the divisions "Rotel" and "Velveeta". This needs to happen.
Army to Put Unparalleled Heart and Respect on Display
Army to display special helmet stickers for Scarlet Knight injured in the game vs Army. Upon reading this article, I felt a chill. The kind of chill you feel when you read about teams supporting their opponents some compassion. Classy move by the Black Knights.
Your Annual CPR For Coach of the Year Facebook Group
This reeks of Cyclone Fanatic. But God Damn does it provide some insightful readings. People have good points. Like the guy saying how stupid it is that Gene Chizik is number 1.
Ole Miss Not Cool Enough For Ackbar, Chooses A Bear Instead
Well, we'll be the Rebel-Bears, because that makes sense.
Caring is Creepy and Jake Rudock stats via Andy Hamilton
Rittenberg posted this on his ESPN blog. I'm not posting this on here for the RB part even though they'd be nice to have. I more wanted to point out Jake Rudock's efficiency on the season noted towards the end of the article.
Horner Named Varsity Coach At Valley
Turns out Valley has a new basketball coach with Iowa ties. All I can say is...damn that'd be awesome.
