28 years old and currently fighting Pancreatic Cancer for my fourth time. I've been a fan of MMA since it's beginning and have 14 years of experience in Isshin Ryu, Kenpo and Tae Know Do. I was diagnosed at age 23 with Stage 2 Pancreatic Cancer and had my Whipple Operation on Aug. 23rd, 2006. 6 months of chemo and radiation knocked it out to put me in remission. But like Jens Pulver, it kept coming back. 3 more times to be exact and each time in my liver. It's the worst it's ever been since I've been sick and have had 9 treatments so far this fourth time around. I'm actually writing this while getting my treatment. Anyway, my knowledge of the sport is vast and if not for being sick, I picture myself training in BJJ and trying to get into the sport. I've had the pleasure of meeting alot of people in MMA over the last few year and honored to have Joe Rogan and Eddie Bravo as friends, as their support over the last few years fighting cancer has helped me big time. I look forward to reading and post opinions about MMA and other sports as well!!!
