Nice Interview with Newton
Talks about who he compares to the most and what not. A good read and watch IMO
One game to go
We made it to the last week of preseason. It seems like just yesterday we were all on here jawing about the draft picks and dying for training camp to start. Now we're about two weeks away from a homecoming of sorts at the Giants house , which we've been eagerly anticipating as much as New York. So from the preseason thus far what can we take away from it? Our Defense is playing lights out , our special teams is a roller coaster, and our offense needs a shot of adrenaline to the chest Pulp Fiction style right? Considering the next game is just going to be for the bubble players basically our starters have gotten there game time in, so with how much certainty can we say that our boys are ready to take the field during the regular season? Maybe more than we think.
#3 Doubters Listen up
Ok so I was going to wait until the guys reported to Spartanburg before I posted another thing on here but there is two problems with that. First is that they report to training camp this Wednesday which by a twist of fate is my 21st birthday and I fear I might be ..hmm...unable to accurately type out all my thoughts on that particular day. The second is that i've been reading alot of stuff on the internet in different Carolina blogs and I really couldn't stand it anymore. There is a common theme among all the articles I've seen or videos I've watched. Everyone from senior writers in Charlotte to people on the NFL Network seem to think that Matt not only won't make it through the whole season , but he shouldn't be the starter at all now that we have a fresh young quarterback in the wings.

Rivalry dead?
I was pondering tonight for a while after watching some highlights of the NFC south duking it out and it got me wondering who was the Panthers biggest rival? Who is our arch nemesis? Which team is just more sweet to beat than any other? Surely it's someone within the division right? I did alittle research on this and watched some highlights and I guess its all a matter of opinion.
Carolina's Wideout Woes
As we are all together here anxiously awaiting the beginning of football season I find myself getting amped up for training camp as much as the season itself. Ok I lied. But there is gonna be an awful lot of competition down in Spartanburg in some very important postions on the field ; which include quarterback and wideout. Right now I wanted to make this article's focal point on the wide receivers. Last year Carolina's run game was on lock and the defense was ranked pretty high in the league. We all know what the problem was early on in the season and thats exactly what coach John Fox looked to fix in the offseason. The passing game. So we go out and sign two quarterbacks and four wideouts..bringing the total to 10 gentleman battling for a spot on the roster. Problem solved?
