Along with being a football fan, I am a huge soccer fan as well... Particualrly the US Mens National Team... So neways I was reading up on an article between the US and Mexico and it mentioned how one player thought Mexico ran up the score on the US who fielded a team of basically C Teamers... It was the next sentence however that made me laugh hysterically and want to share this with all of you.

Hejduk and Clark won't fault Mexico for going all Bob Stoops on the U.S.

So even in soccer, which for the most part fans do not coexist between both sports.... They know that Bob Stoops runs up the score...

The infamous Stoops has once agian proven that no one other than the poll voters outside of Norman has any respect for him. And with any luck, Mexico will choke in the next World Cup Qualifier too ;) .

Hook' Em and Go Yanks

The full story I'm talking about is here if you wanna check it out:

The long and extended title says it all. Linebacker Tevin Jackson and his Garland teammate athlete Adrian Phillips have both now committed to Texas according to Rivals.com . This brings Rival's tally of Texas commits to 7 (they do not have Case McCoy listed as one of them). What are the initial thoughts to the news?

Inside Texas put up a great new article on their website. The best part of it is that it is FREE. Devon Kennard apparently likes the "Buck" position that Brian Orakpo is playing righ t now. He has in in houe visit from both Carroll and Tedford coming up.

Click here for the complete article.

It seems like the Devon Kennard oppurtunity is still a very realistic one for Texas. What is everyone else thinking?

This will prolly just make people even angrier, but I posted this video on youtube that basically covers what I would call the MAIN reason why texas should go over OU.

The quality of the video was somewhat diminshed when it got posted to youtube,m but its stiull in very good shape. (Don't confuse this with my special effects)

Best wishes to all and to all a good Fiesta Bowl. (cept OSU of course)

First BCS Poll Encouraging

The Sagain poll is officially out and it looks very promising. Texas is ranked 2nd which means it dint lose any ground. Florida was only able to move upo to 4th, and are still behind Texas Tech.

So anyways, to get the word count up, the first poll is encouraging to the Longhorns.

This is, at least to my knowledge, the only one of the 6 BCS cpus to release their polls early.

....... word count

Ok, so maybe it's just me and I've gone crazy with whats gone on, but is it actually possible that we can pass OU if they win but are unimpressive. OU does not have a lot of room to go up and we arent in a position to lose a lot of ground (ithink) in the computers. If OU wins but barely, voters could compare the game to the game that we had with Mizzou. If some votes flip our way, BAM, were back on top of OU.

I seriously think I just might be crazy, but to me, any hope is good hope. No matter how slim.

Well, the first of the new BCS Computers are up, and theyre terrible. OU has passed Texas after this Saturday. i'm 99% sure they're updated. (the 1 %is all hope no head) this is one of the polls that I really did not expect to see change, but TCU going into the top 10 killed us. So, here is the link, anyone have early thoughts?
