BEWARE OF THE EXPERTS! FOLLOW THE BLOGS AND WEIGHT THE COMMENTS AS FOR VALIDITY.
The same person who was TheParisGuy. Born in Cynthiana, raised and attended Paris HIgh School. Season ticket holder in both football and basketball at University of Kentucky long enough to have seen the good, the bad and the ridicious.
I love college football and follow a variety of teams. I admire the coaches of most schools and having been there on a smaller level, and understand what they go through. I also understand the 'smoke and mirrors' that is thrown out to be gospel by them and the athletic directors.
I lean more to facts and accomplishments. Not a 'if' or 'what should have bappened" person. If I offend, I want to say, "I'm sorry" in advance. Its just my opinion and mine alone.
I'm not a rah, rah guy. I never pick on a player, will praise them though, but the coaches and athletic director are fair game. They're the ones making the money off what's on the field or court.
I've been bashed so many times for my comments, have at it. They are my opinions and if you don't agree, good for you.

A Sea Of Blue Football: Kentucky plays the 'Buy Three' because

Kentucky doesn't seem to want to 'test the water' by playing other BCS schools in the non conference schedule.  There seems to be a debate on why we do or don't.  We have been doing so since the inclusion of the twelfth game on the schedule.

Would beating someone of BCS caliber in the regular season benefit the program?

Some say going to a minor bowl hasn't really benefited the Cats.  Others say the extra practice is good.

I think it would be interesting to see what the readers of ASOB think the reason is.
