I was born in Rochester NY and grew up near Utica. Card-carrying member of WSTM TV's Scooby-Doo club and big fan of the Saturday Showboat. Lifelong Red Sox fan due to WBZ's massive signal on the AM wavelengths. Now in the Bay Area where I was converted to a Sharks fan by proximity, love for hockey, and that Joe Thornton guy.
Bad childhood memories include "wide right," Keith Smart," and just about all of 1986.
My wife is a Michigan State fan/alum.
I like to drink coffee and Bailey's during any game that starts before noon. After noon, I drink Bass or crappy light beer if I am on a healthy kick.

Yes, I am using my first ever FanPost to declare it: UConn will not go dancing in March. Louisville is nowhere near that good and the Huskies looked more like poodles this evening. There is no way they make the tourney-- they'll be lucky to be an 8 seed in the NIT. You heard it here first. Or tenth. Watch this space for further bold predictions. (Wow, nice HTML editor.) Bonus prediction: Texas is about to blow out Oklahoma state in this Monday nightcap.
