Saw 18 consecutive Tours de France as the French see them, on French TV and/or roadside, starting with Greg LeMond's amazing comeback in 1989.
Have shot portions of all 7 of Lance Armstrong's Tour victories but also many other races "from Paris-Nice to Paris-Tours."
I like to joke that I aspire to take better photos than Sam Abt and write better than Graham Watson. But seriously, it has been fantastic traveling to so many races in recent years; it's been like living one chapter of a Sam Abt book after another, driving over unbelievable mountain passes racing to a stage town or looking out the windows of a Belgian train in great anticipation of arriving in Liege. Finally meeting Sam and Graham was a thrill. Sam subsequently emailed that he enjoys my website but I'm not sure Graham appreciates my stealing "his" spot overlooking the bridge at Revin during the Criterium International each year.
Have worked with French media so have info sources in TV and print media (yes, L'Equipe). Am just minutes away from Eurosport headquarters, France 2/3/4, A.S.O., L'Equipe, and LNDD.
