As a life long Tribe fan and living in Tampa, I have never had the opportunity to see them play at home. That is about to change. I will be in Cleveland on 06/13 and 06/14 to see them take on the Cardinals. My question to all of those that have been to a home game for the Indians and the city of Cleveland in general is as follows.

What do I absolutely have to do when I go to the Jake/Progressive Park or in the city of Cleveland in general? I don't wanna do anything too tourist oriented. I would like something that is just a secret of the locals. All suggestions welcome.

Ken Rosenthal Reports Red Sox have inquired about Victor Martinez

"Of all the players we've had here, there is no finer human being, probably no one more proud to be an Indian, no more vested in the organization than Vic," Indians general manager Mark Shapiro said Sunday night.

I don't think this should even be discussed. I see Cliff Lee being traded before V-Mart. This would really help the Red Sox too much in my opinion. I also do not think the prospects in return would help the Indians in the long run either. With the exception of Masterson.

IMO ... They signed their Big Papi let them eat the contract.

From a Buccaneers Fan

Even though you guys came into Ray Jay and thoroughly trounced us. I am a Buccaneers fan first and foremost, but, in the AFC my favorite teams have always been the Chargers and the Bills.

I watched you guys thoroughly handle the Buccaneers and the Chargers are a dangerous team that could end up going all the way this year. I think the most intriguing match up would be to have Carolina and San Diego in the Super Bowl this year. Not sure how the ratings would be but it would make for one heck of a game. When our season went out with a whimper and we had an at home loss to Oakland of all teams I officially took off my Pewter and Crimson and put on the Blue and Gold.

Phillip Rivers earns my respect because he isnt trying to be the pretty boy QB like Manning or Brady and he isnt out there selling anything they will put his face on. But he is out there ready to fight for each and every one of his team mates. That in my book is a leader and I see him taking that biggest step forward this year.

I wish you guys well and hope to be welcoming you into the fraternity this year of 1st time Super Bowl winning franchises. Tampa Bay won in San Diego... Ironic that this years Super Bowl is in Tampa. Could be an omen of sorts.

Broncos Fire Shanahan

Breaking News ...

The Broncos have fired Mike Shanahan.

Brian and Joel Glazer seen running for the phones. Gruden and Allen seen with the Deer in the headlights look.

This goes to prove that no coach in the league is automatically untouchable regardless of tenure or past successes. I for one think that Shanahan has a proven history of good game management and runs an effective ball control offense. This would be a good fit in my opinion for Tampa Bay. I am not sure I would give him Coach and GM responsibilities but Head Coach definetely.

Glad I stayed at home for game 2

I was at game 1 section 130 bout fifteen rows up behind the Rays pen. Great seats but I was disappointed with the outcome. For game 2, I pulled out all of the stops and followed my superstitions to a T. I wont be arrogant and claim I helped in any way but … I also don’t think I hurt.

On a side note. Some Rays fans are just as bad as Red Sox fans. Three drunk guys sitting behind me on Friday night were Rays fans and would not stop antagonizing the spattering of Boston fans sitting around us. They were not typical Boston fans either, ie loud drunk obnoxious pink hatters. They were more like an older gentlemen in his 70’s and his wife. I think they were probably retirees that moved to this area. No need to harass someone for their laundry they clapped when Boston did something good just as Rays fans cheered when Rays did something good. Finally they had enough of the badgering from the drunk guys behind us and left in the 7th inning… it was still a no hitter too when they left. As the guy left I shook his hand and said not all Rays fans are assholes. Don’t let them ruin your chance of seeing a no hitter for your team on the road. They guy said its ok… we just can’t take anymore of the gentleman behind you and I said I’m sorry you paid so much to have your game ruined by drunken loud mouthed idiots.

Some Rays fans embarrass me, some Red Sox fans are classier than others.

My final synopsis… Asshole behavior from fans comes from all teams.

I went to watch a good game it sucked the Rays came out on the wrong side. It sucked even more that I had to put up with general asshattery from drunken Rays fans.
