Mike Brown has to become the first coach ever in professional sports to be fired one year after he was crowned "Coach of the Year."
Ouch!
Our Fellow AP Bloggers Pre-Preseason Get-To-Know-You Questionnaire
I've recently had the urge to get to know each of you a little bit more.
Here are 10 questions that will do just that. They are not all football related, so it's also a great chance to escape Bowe's no-no's type reads and allow your mind to think about something different.
Enjoy. :)

[1] We'll start out football. We'll start out fantasy. Who, in your opinion, will be the 2010 fantasy bust? Who will be the brilliant under-the-radar pick?
(peyote's answer) The buster will be Donovan McNabb. Too much pressure on him, and getting too old. The Eagles know when to get rid of players, and this will not be an exception.
Bust
The under-the-radar pick will be Jamaal Charles. A golden 2nd round pick. I also believe that Dexter McCluster will have an Eddie Royal type season from two years ago.
Brilliant
¬2¬ What is your favorite adult beverage? And, if you had the choice to drink one kind of beer for the rest of your life what would it be?
(peyote's answer) My favorite adult beverage is Vodka or Whiskey. In my beer, I like serious hoppyness, so maybe like a Flying Dog Extra Bitter IPA.
!3! Where do you live now? Where do you want to live most in the states/Canadia? Where do you want to live outside the states/Canadia? Yes, you read it right I said "CanAYdia."
(peyote's answer) I currently live in Terlingua, TX, but I may have found a job here in London. There is nowhere in America I would rather live than Terlingua, deep SW Texas, in the Big Bend area. Outside of the states, at the moment, I want to live in London. Amazing place with people from everywhere to meet.
Me in London.
/4\ Do you have facebook? If not, you should.
(peyote's answer) Yes, I do. My name on Facebook is Wolf Kayne. At one point I was against it, but it truly is a blessing when you're traveling.
^5^ If you could be any character in fiction, whom would you be?
(peyote's answer) Without a doubt, I would be Tony Stark.
#6# If someone wrote a biography about you. what would the title be?
(peyote's answer) "The Unpredictable Insane Everyday Man"
=7= Name four players currently playing in the NFL, that without a doubt, if added to our team, would win us a ring this year.
(peyote's answer) Jared Allen, James Harrison, Vince Wilfork, DeMarcus Ware
@8@ What is your greatest weakness?
(peyote's answer) Sometimes I get caught up in thinking I'm better than others. Like I'm on some high horse, but I'm/we're not. Realizing this has been a great thing though.
?9? When you graduated high school, what did you want to be when you grew up?
(peyote's answer) I wanted to be a doctor. Now I am a River guide during the day, and a bartender at night. Also, I am completely against doctor's treat-the-symptom not-the-cure way of thinking.
:10: If you weren't a Chiefs fan, what NFL team would you be a fan of?
(peyote's answer) Arizona Cardinals. I love Arizona, and watching them almost pull one out of their ass two years ago was a highlight I'll cherish for a long time.
Almost!

All of the pictures I see lately of Cassel at camp has me wondering where his width is when throwing?
I mean look at Brady. It's a thing of beauty.
Is this a glaring difference only to me?
I had a dream last night that Moeaki scored our first touchdown against the Chargers. He caught the 15 yard pass, did a front flip at the thirty yard line, almost fell over, then ran it in for a touchdown.
I'd say it was a 50 yard play.
Now that I think about it, how do I know it was from this next year???

APPG And Why We Are Capable Of 11-5 In 2010
In 2009, we ranked 23rd in points scored per game. (18.4 ppg)
With our additions/speed/new coach/experienced and stronger QB/OC actually starting the season/very own Jamaal Charles and his numbers ending last half of season that we will without a question improve to score an average of 23 points per game with ease, f***ing blindfolded.
Yes, and if we are unable to do this I WILL be disappointed.
Twenty-three points would put us nearly in the Top 10 scoring PPG last season.
I will now break down our upcoming 2010 season and see how it will turn out according to last years numbers, and IF we would score 23 ppg.
Week#/Team/*APPG last season/Win or Loss/2010 Record
1/Chargers/28.4/Loss/0-1
2/Browns/15.3/Win/1-1
3/49ers/20.6/Win/2-1
4/Colts/26/Loss/2-2
5/Texans/24.2/Loss/2-3
6/Jaguars/18.1/Win/3-3
7/Bills/16.1/Win/4-3
8/Raiders/12.3/Win/5-3
9/Broncos/20.4/Win/6-3
10/Cardinals/23.4/Loss/6-4
11/Seahawks/17.5/Win/7-4
12/Broncos/20.4/Win/8-4
13/Chargers/28.4/Loss/8-5
14/Rams/10.9/Win/9-5
15/Titans/22.1/Win/10-5
16/Raiders/12.3/Win/11-5
Eleven wins seems very, very possible to me. Arguing that our offense will not be dramatically improved this year is bogus IMO.
How many points a game do you all think we are capable of this season?
*average points per game
How many Chiefs fans are out there?
An estimated 106.5 million people watched this years Super Bowl. Assuming that all of them have a favorite team, how many do you think are Kansas City Chiefs fans?
We know that there are 32 teams. So I'll start by dividing 107 million by 32.
107,000,000/32 = 3,343,750 Are there that many Chiefs fans out there?
Despite what you may think, I believe there are more than that. How would we find out though for sure?
The first way I will look at it is a simple formula. I can say with certainty that wherever I am in the country that 1 in every 100 people I meet are Chiefs fans.
There are 307,006,550 people in the United States. So 307,006,550/100 = 3,070,065 That number is oddly close to the first number.
But are there really over 3 million Chiefs fans?
I realize this could be a Fanshot, but I was too lazy to swap it. I'm very curious to hear your responses.

Sources say the Kansas City Chiefs will without a doubt draft Eric Berry at #5. Sources include Rex Sykes, the Evasonz, and David Blayne. All have spoken to Scott Pioli and company's medulla oblongatas.
10 Predictions For 2010 Season
1) Chiefs win 8+ games. We WILL be the biggest surprise of the year. I'm going to predict this every year until it actually happens.
2) Top 5 QB ratings will go to 1 Tom Brady 2 Peyton Manning 3 Ben Roethlisberger 4 Aaron Rodgers 5 Drew Brees 10 Matt Cassel (it's going to be easier with #4 and #13 out of the picture)
3) Both our Offense and Defense will rank inside the better half of the NFL. Would you be happy with a rank of 16th in both offense and defense? Would that win us more than 8 games?
4) Packers will play the Colts in Super Bowl 49 in Dallas. Sorry Jerry. Favre will be on the sidelines cheering Aaron on. Green Bay will lose. The next year Brett Favre becomes QB coach for Green Bay when all the sudden A-Rodge gets hurt and Favre comes out of retirement just in time for the playoffs to lead the Packers to a Super Bowl 50 victory.
5) LaDanian Tomlinson will be a part of that Super Bowl winning Colts team. Just before that he will run all over you-know-who in the AFC Championship.
6) Joel and/or Chris will become ESPN insiders for the Chiefs. So when something dramatic happens in Kansas City they will get TV time.
7) Offense will dominate our picks in this years draft. Don't be mad.
8) TIm Tebow will not start for any team next season, but the one/those in front of him quarterbacking will improve dramatically because of him.
9) Adrian Peterson will be the highest scorer in Fantasy Football next season. As long as fumbles don't count against you in the league. Number two will go to #25.
10) I will buy a #8 or #23 Chiefs jersey next season. Size X, Z, or Y.
Hey AP, will someone please enter or submit a photo in Todd Haley's Wikipedia spot? You must own the photo or something. It's pathetic he doesn't have a picture.
Writing adrenaline, what a great feeling!
I'm not a geek like most of you, but reading/obsessing over mock scenerios makes my head spin more than brazilian beavers and moonshine soaked fruit. I, of course, have my uneducated opinions of what I think should happen - but mostly I'm addicted to imagining each and every possible thrilling plot you all visualize. Thank you for that.
My stubby experiences with success have always led me later on to mirror that of which made me triumph before. Whether I'm moving into a new job previously had, or starting something completely new - I always find myself moving into those comforts that fortuned me historically. Also, more often than not improvements can be made to even that which made you successful.
This post is to remind everyone that a Weis/Crennel alloy will sparkle silver once again, but gush bloody red right here in Kansas City. Offensive similarities along with defensive synonyms (from '01, '03, and '04) will be seen next season with our D and OCs. Why fix a blueprint of three Super Bowl winning schemes? Hell, why not trick out the scheme by throwing in some nitrous. (T. Haley)
I'm stoked about the amount of important figures we have around that know exactly what it takes to command and fukin' conquer. More often than not I/we forget exactly that. Players will follow without doubt, players will listen without questioning, and players will perform knowing that backing them up have been the best....multiple times.
Confidence equals contentment. Contentment equals great gain.
Thanks again AP for your masterful intellect. I look smarter every day because of you.
