The pressure didn't faze Bradford. It never does.

Antonio Bryant and Laveranues Coles
Bryant, just released by the Cincinnati Bengals, had signed a 4 year, $48 million deal this past March. He was counted on to be a slot-type receiver, complementing Ochocinco and Owens nicely. Bryant has been having trouble with his recently repaired knee, which raises some questions.
Coles was released by the Bengals this past offseason and was picked up by his former team, the New York Jets. Coles only had 4 catches for umpteen yards this preseason.
Any thoughts fellas?
Conclusion
Let's stop all of the shoulda/coulda/woulda's and accept the fact that we drafted who we drafted.
We, as fans, do not have control over who is on the roster of our Rams (though that would be nice). Yes, they may be quesitonable, but these players are now apart of our family and we need to get passed this hazy stage and look towards the future.
I dont know about everybody, but i know i am completely stoked to see how these players produce throughout the spring and summer.
God bless the Rams!
Samkon Gado
Mr. Gado came to my high school yesterday along with veteran wide receiver Andre Davis who catches for the Houston Texans for a talk about hard work in the weight room and classroom.
I have to say, though he didn't put up the best numbers, Sam is now one of my favorite players.
He came from a small private high school in South Carolina, was the 3rd string running back all four years at Liberty U, but managed to become rookie of the year just because of his hard work. I actually had the chance to talk to him 1-on-1 and i asked him about the great SJax (Sam called him The Predator, which i thought was an insane nickname). He said SJax is the hardest working player he has ever seen.
It was a very cool experience to have a conversation with him. He chuckled when i told him I live for the rams, and he said he loves St. Louis and was sad when he didn't get another contract. He also said best of luck in the draft and the upcoming season.
What a guy, eh?
Enough of the Superbowl talk...
I've been reading this blog for the past year (since right before the draft before the 2009 season), and i tip my cap to Vanram, 3k, ram_rod, and all the others who keep me in the loop with up-to-date news about our Rams. Well done fellas...
Anywho, i found this tidbit from Walterfootball.com very interesting:
St. Louis Rams: Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
![]()
2010 NFL Mock Draft selection (as of 1/22/10): Jimmy Clausen, QB
If I had to rank the three receivers right now, it would be A.J. Green, Michael Floyd and Julio Jones (drops plagued his 2009 season). However, if the Rams draft Jimmy Clausen, and they're torn between Green, Floyd and Jones, I'm sure they'd lean toward Floyd because of the familiarity between he and Clausen.
If St. Louis opts to draft Ndamukong Suh, this selection would be Jake Locker. So, why don't the Rams take Suh and wait for Locker? Because there's no guarantee they'll be drafting No. 1 again. What if Suh helps them win five games next year? At 5-11, they'll be drafting seventh or eight, and like the Browns and Bills this year, they'll be out of the running for a top quarterback. And thus, the Rams would be screwed for the next five years or more.
This quote is a mock of our 2011 first round selection, updated 1-22-10. Walterfootball.com is basically saying if we pick Suh, we'll have to wait until the next draft to find our QB. FA is crap this year and we're not going to find our guy if we draft Suh. I really like Suh, but this opened my eyes to other possibilities. What do you think?
