NHL Senior Vice President of Player Safety Brendan Shanahan continued his string of stiff penalties today, suspending Jean-Francois Jacques for leaving the bench on a legal line change to start a fight with Vancouver Canucks forward Mike Duco. Jacques was retaliating against Duco, who had fought captain Ryan Getzlaf earlier in the period.
