Big East Leadership In Action
These are the bold moves that our conference is willing to take...in that Marinatto sat at home and prayed that realignment would go away.
Andy Rautins: Pretty Good Shooter
Combine Shooting Drill Results:
Winners:
Four players shot above 75%: Andy Rautins (77.7%), Willie Warren (76.7%), Mikhail Torrance (75.9), Luke Babbitt (75.7%).
Rautins was absolutely scorching at close to 80%.
Looks like he brought his A Game. Now all he has to do is convince people he can play man d and he's good to go... what's that? I didn't get to 75 words? I guess I'll just post the link below and say good for Andy! Go Cuse!

Thinking Ahead
Does anyone out there agree with me in thinking it would be a very very good idea for the 6ers to pick up Da Sean Butler if he goes undrafted?
He'll be relatively cheap to sign and will not be fully recovered next year. Meaning that we can continue to stay in the hunt for the #1 overall pick next year and by the time he's strong enough to play we'll have Holliday, two lottery picks and a first rounder in Butler (hopfully a competent coach and who knows what else as well). Any thoughts?
A Message To All You Giants Fans
So as I read the comments about the McNabb trade I see a lot more Eagles bashing than McNabb support. I see a lot of attacks on Eagles fans. I understand that you are taking a sadistic satisfaction in McNabb leaving the Eagles. You’re Giants fans, I get it. I hate you all as much as you hate me. It’s very hard for me to write this without breaking into generalized insults about your team, your city (is it New York, NY or East Rutherford, NJ), or you personally as Giants fans. I would hope that any comments below would be as mature and exhibit the type of class that neither of our respected fan bases are known for.
As an Eagles fan and a Philadelphian, I can tell you that the people here are heartbroken. We know he got the shit end of the stick and we recognize him as one of the greatest Eagles ever, and are terrified to be seeing him twice a year in a Skins uniform. We are nervous about Kolb (along with our defense and o-line). This is not just me. This is everyone. Despite the Phillies recent success (which I would bet is a large reason for the trade being announced last night), we are a football city. From the chatter on trains to people talking on the street and even among the women in my office we are scared of what has transpired. The fans who wished him to leave – which despite CONSTANT reports in the media of our hatred towards him, is NOT a majority of Philadelphians – are not gloating, they are scared because they finally got what they asked for.
McNabb never was a Philadelphian. That was why some didn’t like him. Some (not all, not most, just a loud group lead by this schmuck) accused him of killing worms, choking, or being too sensitive, not because he was any of these things, but because he never really felt like a Philadelphian. Brian Dawkins, Allen Iverson, Chuck Bednarik, Chase Utley (and not just because of what he did to Frank Gifford) fit the hyper competitive, blue collar, no excuses attitude that Philly falls for. McNabb didn’t. I loved him and there were times that all of Philly did again and again, even late in his career here, But he was too quiet of a leader for my city, and that’s a large reason why he was so thoroughly criticized.
McNabb is already missed by Philadelphia. Don’t blame the fans for chasing him out. Blame the media for constantly berating him. Blame Reid for using McNabb as a scapegoat for his shortcomings. Blame the owners for getting desperate because the Phillies are gaining so much popularity (They made a similar move at QB last year when baseb). Yes there are some idiots in Philly who are glad he’s gone, but if you try and tell me there aren’t some idiots who are Giants fans who expect ridiculous things, well, then you’re probably one of them. No Eagles diehards were happy to see Dawkins go last year and a lot of people are still bitter over that. We’re not getting a vote in this.
Most of us are glad he didn’t end up with the Raiders, even if he is still in the division. We just hope that he doesn’t sign an extension with the skins and can move on to Minnesota or Arizona next year to finish an already great career with a great team, but we only hope the best for him. Philadelphia is a very rough place to play and many people may have been critical of McNabb, but at the end of the day, we know he’s a great player and great guy, and we’re, for the most part, sad to see him go.

We got another one!
2011 recruit Trevor Cooney has committed to the Orange.
And he'll be at the Nova game, so if you happen to be sitting next to him at the game (because I’m sure he’ll be sitting in the 300’s with everyone else), welcome him to the family!

…post dammit! Oh, 30 more words you say? Hmmm. Go Cuse, Beat Nova! This game will be what Kansas-Texas was suppose to be: EPIC!
Also, you've chosen well Trevor, see you in a couple years.
I'm sure this isn't that big a suprise, but...
There are reports Josh Selby is no longer considering Syracuse.
