The D stands for Disrespected!  Bodog has the Jets and Pats as favorites (2 of top 6) to win the Super Bowl.  Then tonight on SportsNation, they polled the "sportsnation": Who is more likely to win the division? Patriots or Jets.... Jets 73% took the poll.  Well you know what, doubt us.  Hate us.  Not only will we win the division, we are going to, AT LEAST, reach the AFC Championship game.  I don't care how good Bellicheat and Ryan think they can gameplan, I don't see how you can stop our offense.  Henne in his 3rd year is gonna tear it up. Ronnie back 100%, Run Ricky Run!!!  Marshall on one side, Bess over the middle, Hartline breaking out this year.  Who ya gonna stop?  Oh sh!t, I forgot about the Wildcat.  Oh yeah, you're going to see that again! Maybe not as much now, but they didnt just throw it away cause we picked up "The Beast"!

Sanchez watch out for that "sophomore jinx". Braylon keep dropping that ball.  Oh yeah, enjoy the limelight with Hard Knocks because that's what Sanchez is gonna feel against Nolan's DEFENSE! 

Patriots your run is over, Randy doesnt play hard anymore (p.s. Vontae shut you down fool) and Bess Jr. aka Welker (lol) coming off injury, nah just don't see it panning out for them.

Ok so after reading the article on Y! (link below) about Eric Berry I REALLY hope he falls to 12 for two reasons:

1) Obvious scenario we TAKE HIM within the first 10 seconds of being on the clock!!!  :))

2) We find out who REALLY wants Berry, trade back and pick up their 2nd rounder.  With our first pick take Earl Thomas who is solid OR (and I know some might not like this option), but Taylor Mays in the late 20's is worth it to me and is good/fast enough to play FS and I think will mold quickly to being more of a ball hawk and not just a hard hitter.

In my opinion it's looking more and more likely that the Phins #1 draft pick will be one of the Texas boys, Sergio or Earl.  Check out the link below:

Hopefully the trifecta takes one of these two, and calls up Denver for Marshall.  This years 3rd, Camarillo or Smiley, and next year's 3rd (possbile 2nd based on BM's production) should do it. Our coaching staff has the leadership to keep him under control and man is he a beast. He is proven, and doesnt forget his cleats!  I think Ginn and/or Hartline would flourish with BM on the other side. Now add Bess and maybe draft Graham (THE U)... oooh I got chills!

Yeah so I know this is a forum for our beloved Phins, but man I am so pumped up about the Canes this year!  I wish the Phins had the receiving core (compared to NFL caliber) that the Canes have.  Our RB core and entire D is SOLID!  It's gonna come down to the O-line being able to protect and run block, and Jacory not Brett Favre-ing so damn much.... I think we already have the ACC locked, pending no season ending injuries to our core players/leaders.  We get by Ohio State (oh that will be so sweet to get them back) and just play our game, NC game baby!

This is just what I would do:

Free Agency:

1) Sign Dansby

* Which they did :)

2) Trade 2nd round pick this year and next years 3rd for B. Marshall

3) Sign Jason Taylor to a 1-2 year deal (insurance if Wake doesnt win job in camp)

4)  I would've kept Gibril for one more year and see how he did under new DC

Draft:  (in my perfect draft world)

1-Call up Cleveland if Berry is still there at their pick.  Swap first round picks and give them one of our extra later picks and take Berry!  If he is gone, hold tight at 12th... Take best OLB/DE Hybrid available. or trade back a few spots and take Thomas out of Texas

2-Traded pick for B. Marshall

3- Best avaialble DT... or Best available OLB, if we got a safety rather than LB in round 1

*** There has been a trade, Dolphins trade Ginn to Chicago for Olsen and swap 4th round picks

4- Best available DT or OLB depending on what I did in round 3

5, 6- Traded with round 1 switch (pending that went down), if not Best available RB and Best available WR in 5th and 6th..... that's enough wishful thinking for now :)
