It hasn't been easy to be a Chiefs fan for the past few seasons. The toughest part is the lack of respect given to us by the fans of other teams. People want to cheer for a winner, and I've seen many former Chiefs fans cross over to the Pats, the Bears, the Steelers, etc.
"I'm still a Chiefs fan... I now have TWO favorite teams..."
"Yeah right. Blow me!"
And don't even get me started on Oakland Raider fans, the ones who have never been to California on vacation, much less LIVED in Cali--they only cheer for the Raiders because they secretly enjoy dressing up as pirates, something they love more than football.
Analyzing conditioning and 3rd down efficiency
Since Coach Haley arrived at Arrowhead, he has been preaching the mantra of conditioning. And I have been left to wonder if it was working. Conditioning is subjective, so it's hard to chart. Some have pointed to recent late game rallies by the Chiefs, but it was easy for me to dismiss those as flukes, as the boys in red and gold were playing from far behind and against prevent defenses. However, in the Chiefs victory over the Steelers, it became clear to me that our team's conditioning played a major factor.
