So my wife out of all people is so pumped about the LIons this year, that she wants us to go see the Dallas  vs Detroit game.  Its about a 9 hour drive but it will be our first Lions game live.  Is there anyone in the Dallas area that can give us some info on which hotels are in walking distance etc.  Anyone else going to be at this game? I just hoped I dont make espn for getting tased or beat up lol.....

Do you think we should go after him.  He has to go through the waiver wire.  Do we still get first pick.  I'm kind of excited because he is from my home town.  The only problem is that i'll have alot of part time Detroit Lions fans jumping on the bandwagon.  The more the better, i guess. Plus he's married to Kendra. Is this 75? Not not yet. When he was the Eagles, he brought down Mcnabb and others to a charity basketball event.  I hope he would do the same if he lands with the Lions.

 

Per profootballtalk.com, looks like Mayhew flipped O'Connel to the Jets. Doesn't say what we got for him. I like the wheeling and dealing from Mayhew.  Now I got to make up 75 words.  Any ideas on who or what we got for him? I wish they would have stuck to talent like they did on day one and then filled the need on day 2.    What worries me is that they had a game plan to stick to their talent board and they did but maybe to a fault.  I think in the later rounds its going to bite us in the butt.   I hope I'm wrong.  It's like saying I'm not going to eat so I can lose weight.  Yeah its going to work at first, but down the road its going to cause more damage than good.  Either way, I'm excited about our day 1 picks and I wish all the picks the best luck.  GO LIONS!
