In the same sentence he said that Philip Rivers is the most consistent QB in the AFC West but he had two interceptions and stunk today..........huh?
Dance like a fool in the end zone and you'll get on prime time, no matter how crappy you play!
MAGIC NUMBER.....so what do you think will be the magic number for losses for everyone (3 and 4 letter sports networks) to be saying that a team is shanking the season in order to get Andrew Luck with the #1 draft pick? I think the magic number is 4. First team to go 0-4 will be "playing for luck". Next question is what team will that be.
Will we get to draft any players in Wednesday's supplemental draft? I think I saw some where that we still have 2 empty spots on the roster. Anyone know about the supp. draft?
How many TE's does Pioli like to start the season with? I saw some where that says that he likes to go heavy on TE's. Currently we have 6 on the roster and I am hearing talk of us having an interest in Zach Miller. Anyone?
Brandon Stokely was the first player to back out of his verbal commitment to become a Redskin. More to follow?
What if our newly draft offensive rookies (Baldwin, Stanzi, Bannon, and whomever else I forgot to mention from this years draft class of offensive players) were to get Charlie Weis to teach them last years play book? Anyone think that the Chiefs are gonna get crazy and come up with an entirely new offensive scheme? Wasn't our new OC on staff last year under Weis? Anyone think Weis would even have the time to do anything like that? Just my crazy idea's I guess. What you think?
Do we have 7 picks or 8 in the upcoming draft?
I went to NFL dot com and they had an article on the AFC West draft needs. The article listed 8 draft picks for the Chiefs. A couple of the picks were one pick off from what I thought we had. The 196th pick was the extra pick that I did not know about. The NFL is supposed to annouce supplemental picks today. Is this a fore shadow of our comp pick? Anyone else know about this?
This week in San Antonio is the NFL Players Association Game, formerly known as the Texas vs. The Nation Game. The idea is simple: Players with ties to Texas play for Bill Bates' Texas team. Those without Texas ties will play for Jerry Glanville's Nation team.
Did anyone else catch Matt Cassel mentioning (On the NFL network coverage of the Pro Bowl) he was sure that no matter who they hire as the Quarterback Coach and the Offensive Coordinator he is sure that the offense will be the same next year. I didnt know we fired the QB coach. Or was Weis the QB coach and the OC? Anyone know?
"I dont want anyone in the rear view throwing dirt on the dead body, you follow me?" ehhhhh what? Can someone tell me what the heck Tomlin was telling his team after the win?
Does Eric Berry have a younger brother? Future Chief in training? Or is this just a good friend type of brother? Any one know?

I read an article on the Chargers site about this guy. Also read an article from about a year ago on AP about this guy. He took the Chargers to 14-2 his first year. He also has worked with Crennel in the past. Wonder if we could get him to wear the Red and Gold?
Shutdown Corners for the Jets out for the Bills - Jets game. What does this mean for us? If the jets lose will that put them against us? Do we want them to win or lose so that we could see them in the Playoffs? With the shutdown corners banged up thats who I want to see in round 1. What you think?
I like to look at the Playoff picture to tell what or if anything has changed. There is now a change!
Can someone help this practice squad rules idiot?
How can the Rams. Panthers, and Lions have 10 players on the practice squad with 2 players injured? The Falcons, Chargers, Patriots, and Bills have 9 on the practice squad with 1 injured player. Obviously there are people on the Chiefs staff that are many times smarter than me when it comes to the roster so I am asking the AP readers for help.
Playoff Picture.
If the Steelers were to lose one game in the next 4.
PIT - CIN (win) KC - SD (win)
PIT - NYJ (loss) KC - ST.L (win)
PIT - CAR (win) KC - TEN (win)
PIT - CLE (win) KC - OAK (win)
And the Chiefs were to win out.....
Darren Sproles. I had to work and listen to the Raiders Chargers game on the Sirius. Sounded like Sproles got a concussion and had to leave the game. Can anyone confirm the concussion and if he will be in the game Next week?
I just started doing some research into college players (Freddie Barnes)
I am thinking of doing a dynasty or keeper league in fantasy football. I started doing research on college football players. I came across a site that has stats for this years players. I started looking at Wide Receivers. Just out of curiosity I opened up last years stats. At the top of the stat list for WR's is a player by the name of Freddie Barnes. This guy broke Randy Moss records in college. Had 4 more TD's than Golden Tate (drafted).2nd in total yards, by 11 to Danario Alexander (drafted). We went to his Pro Day and watched his work out. Can some one tell me why this guy did not get an invite to the combine, didnt get drafted by anyone, and is now on the Chicago Bears practice squad?
It's almost painful to say it, I think the Raiders did a good job with the draft!
My reasoning for saying the Raiders did a good job is because according to NFL.com they filled all of the teams needs with three picks left to go in the draft. The QB need was solved by a trade to the Redskins for Campbell, which has an undisclosed draft pick with the deal. I'm sure everyone will tell me how crappy the players actually are that were drafted. Here's your chance to shoot down my theory!
How will the referee being moved to the Offense side of the line of scrimmage effect us?
This is the first time that I have ever started a post so please forgive me if I put in the wrong place!
I was wondering how bad we were last year with defensive line men on holding penalties? With the referee being moved to the offense side of the line of scrimmage there is a theory that defensive holding penalties will go unnoticed. There is also a theory that a scrambling QB might run into the referee. Do you think this will help us or make things even more difficult for our team?
