Question from an Auburn Friend
A question a friend that goes to Auburn recently asked me.
Friend from Auburn: pizzadelivery
Friend from Auburn: who the hell is this "graham zug"
Friend from Auburn: because he definitely won the heisman in the first season of my auburn dynasty :V
Friend From Auburn: wait pizza is he the white guy
How do you explain Zug to a non-fan? How can you begin to show him the pure awesomeness that is Mr. Zug?
Penn State #1 Party School
[Bumped, while we wait for video of Joe Paterno referring to Twitter as "tweedle-doos" and asking Gerry DiNardo to write him a love letter. Almost as good as when he said he didn't know how to download a jar of peanut butter a few years ago. - RUTS]
Penn State now ranked #1 party school.
STATE COLLEGE, Pa. — Penn State University tops the charts this year when it comes to the country’s top party schools. The school known in part for its football tailgate weekends and fraternity and sorority scene snatched the title away from last year’s winner, the University of Florida, which finished second in the 2009 Princeton Review survey of 122,000 students released Monday.
It’s the first time Penn State has finished first in the dubious category. The school has been on the list the last seven years, and finished third in 2008. The listing covers Penn State’s main University Park campus in State College.
The annual rankings also list the country’s "Stone-Cold Sober Schools." Brigham Young University in Utah topped that list for the 12th straight year.

Bowman In Trouble...Again
http://www.wjactv.com/news/19232362/detail.html
Linebacker Navarro Bowman is already on probation for disorderly conduct, stemming from an on campus fight. Court sources tell WJAC that Bowman recently admitted to Centre County probation officials that he has smoked marijuana, at least twice, since December. Plus, Bowman has completed none of the 100 hours of community service that was ordered by the court. A hearing on his probation status is scheduled for this week.
So much for me buying his jersey this coming season...
Harry Kalas Dead
Harry Kalas (March 26, 1936 - April 13, 2009) collapsed in the broadcast booth earlier today. An hour later he was pronounced dead. Apparently he was sick for a while, and even had a goal of making it to spring training this year. The voice of the Phillies for almost 40 years, he has also been heard on NFL Films. It's a very sad day for not only the Phillies, but all of baseball.
Cutler to The Bears
Broncos, Bears agree on deal for Cutler
The Denver Broncos announced Thursday that they have agreed in principle to trade QB Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. Terms of the deal have not been announced.
from NFL.com
Well crap, he really couldn't have gone to a worse team from our perspective. I guess we can expect the Bears to be losing at least their first round draft pick. Oh well, at least they don't have any wide receivers?
Any News on the Williams Wall?
Well here's going to be a struggle to get seventy five words. Has there been any recent updates with the Williams Wall and their trial(s). Last I heard the judge ruled that they could play, and that they were going to further review their case. Is there any chance that they won't actually be suspended? I assume if the case is kept out of Goodell's hands, there's a chance. Ok I think I got to seventy five words now.
Ugh, another player in a fight
http://www.centredaily.com/116/story/1174865.html
A Penn State football defensive tackle has been cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly throwing a punch during a shoving match Feb. 28 with passers-by on the 100 block of South Atherton Street, police said.
State College police cited 21-year-old Jared T. Odrick after they say the alleged victims looked up Odrick’s photo on the Penn State football team Web site and then called police to report the incident.
Who gets into a fight with a 6'5" 306 pound person, then cries about it afterwards? I don't care if you're drunk.
THON on the Today Show
Sometime last week the Today Show was going to air a piece about THON. Instead, it got bumped due to the plane crash. After a few delays, they finally aired it. It was also on FOX News in the morning. It's a pretty cool video.
Here's the Today Show link:

P.S. There's an ad before the actual video, so don't fret.
