Hey all, I hate to be a homer, but the university I attend, Utah State Universiy, held their pro day yesterday, and one player that may be intriguing for the Chiefs shined.  James Brindley, a safety, was a huge playmaker on the defense for us.  He averaged 7.8 tackles per game (this despite missing two games all together, and missing parts of two others), he also had nine passes defended (6 breakups, 3 interceptions). 

His pro day numbers are after the jump.

I would just like to thank both Chris and Joel for doing such an awesome job on this site.  I think it's been roughly 2 years since I joined up, and it has been an amazing experience to watch this site grow from the tiny blog it was then, to a full fledged media juggernaught of Chiefy goodness.  I feel I can safely say there is no better site for Chiefs news than this one.

Just curious of what team you all think will win the Superbowl.  My vote is for the Steelers.  I just don't see the Cardinals being able to overcome such a great defense, no matter how potent that offense is. 

I'm also curious to know if you plan on watching the superbowl (as far as I can tell I can only have one poll per post though, so just leave that in the comments)

And lastly, who will be the MVP? (I'm going out on a limb and saying Polamalu)

Next year will be one hell of a tough home schedule...  We will have to play Pittsburgh, Dallas, the NY Giants, the Browns, and one AFC east team yet to be determined, plus the normal AFC Westees.  We better have a hell of a lot better team than we did this year if we want to win some of these games.  Plus we have to play Baltimore, Philadelphia, Washington, Cincinnati, and an AFC South team away... going to be a tough year for this team....

I noticed this on NFL.com today... you guys agree with Sharpe?

That leaves us with a roster spot... We should let K-Rob have his shot.  He was a good receiver, and a great return specialist for USU, the one bright spot on a team that completely sucked.  I don't mind Savage as a returner but he hasn't been outstanding. 

K-Rob was best at returning punts and this is what Savage has had the most issues with so I don't get why we wouldn't at least try him out.
