Doubling up on Receiver in the supplemental draft? (via awasiele) Micheal Floyd is a big body receiver, but has the speed to make the defense pay.If we choose to pick him up in the supplemental, we would be more certain that our QB will have a legitimate deep option as the chance of both Gates and Floyd failing is smaller than just gates. If both of them work out, great we have 5 different WRs that can get the job done. If either Gates or Floyd busts, we still have the other. Also, with this possibly being Sparano's last season he might be more willing to let go of next year's draft choices for a guy now.

The fanshot link is for Pouncey. I will try to get all of the draft profiles for our draft picks. Going in order, here is Thomas! Then there is the steal of this draft class, Edmund Gates! Here is Charles Clay against Hawaii! Then Jimmy Wilson's 2010 Highlights. Then the only video on youtube that has Kearse in it

Mustain Highlights - this guy Intrigues me, so I wanted to get a look. Might as well share. He played a lot on special teams, scoring 2 pt conversions and was also the place kicker. He also had a chance to throw a TD pass and even start against Notre Dame... Not included in this video is what could've been a game-winning touchdown pass to Ronald Johnson for a TD.. Unfortunately Johnson dropped a perfect pass from Mustain.. Anyways, Mustain never quit.. He hung in until the very end, and NFL scouts should give him a look. He sat behind a 1st round pick (Sanchez) in 08 and sat behind a potential first round pick in 2012 or 2013 (Barkley).

Locker: Is it just him or his team

"1/30/10: Jake Locker's poor Senior Bowl week culminated with a pedestrian performance in the actual game. He made a couple of nice throws in the second half, but the negatives completely...

DVOA: The main statistic used on Football Outsiders, DVOA breaks down the entire season play-by-play, comparing success on each play to the league average based on a number of variables including down, distance, location on field, current score gap, quarter, and opponent quality. While it can be used as a measure of total team performance, it differs from other power ratings found throughout the Web because it can be broken down to analyze team effectiveness in any number of ways: down, quarter, rushing vs. receiving, location on field, passes to backs vs. passes to receivers, and so on. Read the article METHODS TO THE MADNESS for more information. DVOA stands for Defense-adjusted Value Over Average, although we use the same letters to refer to defensive rankings which are adjusted to take into account the quality of offensive opponents. When not adjusted for opponent, this stat is called VOA.

Yet another Henne post. (With some Hartline)

I was looking at the game logs for Henne and saw that there was something that caught my eye. It was the difference in performance before and after three injuries. The injury to Henne that should...

New QB prospect rankings

Wow, these guys are just awesome. So much for a top heavy QB class. Gabbert - Average arm strength, struggles with accuracy, and put gawdy numbers in a wacky offense. Thigpen 2.0 IMO, this is seriously the top QB. Newton - From everything I've read he has piss poor mechanics. Will need to learn how to be a pocket passer. Mechanics so poor that you have to question his work ethic because it should have improved since freshman year. Character concerns. A developmental pick with work ethic issues? Some dumb team will pick these guys, but I'm looking at some of the 3rd round guys. They look good. (Ponder, Dalton, Devlin)

Well, it's that time again to prepare for the draft and address needs that came up during the season. I've noticed a lot of talk here about OLBs, the newest FP post is actually about your LBs. So...

My best try at an impartial view of this O.

We have 3 very good WRs and 2 promising UDFAs. We have a poor O-line. We also have old RBs that might be on the way out. We also have Henne and whoever we bring in. We also have Fasano for what...

A look at Thigpen's Tenure in Miami

We traded for him after CP10 went down for the season in week 3 of the 2009 season, we gave up a 5th rounder which turned into OLB Cameron Sheffield. He got playing time that year when Henne went...

Players to watch for this draft (Receiving TE Edition)
