Dolphins sign Vikings Backup TE Shuler
TE Mickey Shuler Jr. signed off Vikings Team.
Richie Incognito 500lbs Bench Press !!!
Well I for one really think this kid will be an improvement and help add depth to our offensive line. This was posted on youtube by Mr. Richie Incognio himself, it may be what ultimatly made the F.O consider signing the kid.
Richie Incognito 500 lb bench press (via richieincognito)
Sure Strength isint everything but it counts for something, especially on the front O-line. With injury prone D.Thomas and J. Grove in the lineup. We need a guy like Incognito for insurance, We have a winning culture in Miami with the Tri-fecta and this guy is a sore loser with a fighters spirit, thats why he mouthed off and acted up in St. Louis and Buffalo. This guy will blossom with the dolphins and I for one can look past his character issues.

Antrel Rolle Coming to MIAMI ??!!
As he enters the final year of his rookie deal, Cardinals safety Antrel Rolle is due to earn a base salary of $8.11 million.
Then there's a $4 million roster bonus due next week.
Based on 2009 wages, the Cardinals already employ the highest-paid safety in the NFL -- Adrian Wilson, who made $7.039 million last season.
So Rolle, who has said he's not taking a pay cut and who has coughed up $2.2 million in back taxes to the IRS, could be hitting the open market in the uncapped year. Darren Urban of the team's official web site predicts that Rolle will be released.
Rolle, who said last month that he'd like to play for the Dolphins, was the eighth overall pick in the 2005 draft, three selections before DeMarcus Ware.
Meanwhile, Rolle is the second top-ten pick of the Cardinals during the three-year Denny Green era to unlock high-end escalators that eventually forced the team into a corner. Two years ago, 2004 first-rounder Larry Fitzgerald parlayed a huge cap number into a four-year, $40 million deal. This time around, a good-but-not-great career from Rolle has put him in line for $12 million, an amount that's unheard of for a safety.
So Rolle undoubtedly won't be back in Arizona absent a major pay cut, and he'll ultimately make a lot less than $12.11 million this year, and likely in any future year of his career.
I for one would love to see Gibril replaced for Rolle. The Dolphins would really be addressing a need.
And what an upgrade it would be.
WR Antonio Bryant to Miami?! Say it aint So
"The story dates back to 2004.
During a heated exchange in a Dallas Cowboys practice, tempers flare and WR Antonio Bryant flings a towel at coach Bill Parcells' face. Days later the player is traded to the Cleveland Browns. That was over five years ago and there are reports Bryant and Parcells have patched things up. There are whispers the two exchange text messages. And so, naturally, there are questions whether the Dolphins might consider Bryant as a free agent addition once free agency begins March 5. I don't know if the Dolphins will chase Bryant or not. But my gut tells me no.But, but, but, but, Mando, Bryant is only 28 years old. He's from Miami, he attended Northwestern High. And he's fits Parcells mold at 6-1 and 205 pounds. BUT he's an enigma, folks. And weve seen the Dolphins reach for an enigma under Parcells.(i.e. Eric Green, Gibril Wilson)
Dansby definitely will hit the market - Will not be franchised
Bob McManaman of the Arizona Republic reports that the team privately has confirmed that the franchise tag will not be used on Dansby for a third straight year. Under the labor agreement, the Cardinals would have been required to offer Dansby a one-year deal with equal to the average 2009 pay of the five highest-paid players in the league. As we recently calculated it, the figure would be a whopping $16.8 million.
With no salary cap and with a limited number of free agents in comparison to past years, Dansby could find himself in demand.
If, that is, teams are willing to spend when both the salary cap and the salary floor disappear.
I for one hope the dolphins take a serious interest and invest in Dansby.
Shoulder surgery for Jason Taylor
Dolphins defensive end Jason Taylor will be a free agent in two weeks.
But he won't be ready to start working out in advance of the 2010 season for three months.
According to Mike Berardino of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, Taylor recently underwent arthroscopic shoulder surgery. His agent, Gary Wichard, said that it will be "three months or so" until Taylor can resume workouts.
Taylor, who wanted out of Miami two years ago and then returned in 2009 after being cut by the Redskins after declining to tie money to participation in offseason workouts, hopes to come back for another year.
Neither the Dolphins nor any other team need to make a final decision in the short term, given that Taylor will be on the shelf until May. So unless someone decides they've got to get Taylor under contract ASAFP, it would be a surprise if he's part of the early free-agency signing rush.
And that's likely fine with Taylor, who if he plays things right will avoid the bulk of an offseason program for the third straight year.
