So I don't know how many people here are familiar with westchester, NY...but alot of the knicks live in the area, a s do I. I was buyin some kicks at the galleria white plains mall with my 2 older brothers, and we were getting pizza, when some short diesel guy and his son and wife (wife? baby mama? jumpoff?) walked by, and I was like damn, that dude looked like nate robinson...and nate does live in white plains...and those rocks in his ear did look like diamonds...

No o ne recognized him tho, I guess cuz he was mad short and had a fitted cap low or some shit. Anyway, we walked up to him and chatted him up a bit since no one recognized him. Told him I hope we can see him back in NY next yr, an joked a bit too. He was mad chill, and strangely didn't act like he was 12, i n direct contrast to many of his twitter posts haha. He's def 5 foot 8, TOPS, but he's also diesel as hell.

Made my week lol

http://www.draftexpress.com/blog/NBA-Coverage/#NBA-Scouting-Reports-Atlantic-Division-Part-Two--3092

I don't know how many of you keep up with DraftExpress, but I read it alot, because i'm always waiting to see their opinions of the diff. point guards in this draft (for the knicks to take lol).

Anyway they have a series for each team where they detail habits strengths and weaknesses on O and D for each player on the team, its ridiculous, basically scouting reports.

they finally did the knicks!

Easily the highlight of their coverage, under nate rob's blurb: include:

Something of a Summer League legend. Named the MVP of the Las Vegas Summer League in 2007, utterly dominating each game he played in.

I know some people on here may agree w ith this sentiment, some may not.

If you don't, then pay this no mind.

http://sportsonmymind.com/2008/11/24/the-incredible-scapegoatism-of-stephon-marbury/

Basically Explains how i feel abt the starbury thing, I wanna make some shirts (or at least just one for myself) saying "Free Stephon!" or something. Before I go on and make it, just wanna know if anyone else would want one by chance...dunno how much it would cost, probably not much.

I remember on FreeDarko and on this site, there were posts involving a knicks shirt a while back last season--it was one of those ones based off the 5 person theme, u know, llike the shirts that say Michael&Scottie&Dennis&Stevie&Kukoc--except it had the entire knicks 07 roster. Anyone remember what site I could find/get that at?

I'm not sure if it was a post by seth or a post by barnesgasm, but i remember it being here and i cant find it in the search results for some reason.

Food for thought, esp. regarding Bayless

here's my debut at this fanpost thing, forgive me if i start to rant and go on too many tangents...

i was thinking about how the knicks passed on arguable top 5 talent player Jeryd Bayless , the only p layer i kinda wanted more than galinari who wasnt a top 4 lock. I figured, why would they pass on bayless?

Obviously, he was a combo guard, for one thing....those havent worked out too well for us. second, if he's so fucking good, how come with another top 15 talent (budinger) on his team, they were so bad? I mean, really, they were like the nuggets of the ncaa!! plenty of theoretical talent, but they werent doing something right, and bayless can't be totally exempt from that.

Also, i guessed that next years draft must have mad point guards, and sure enough, it does.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/draft2009/columns/story?columnist=ford_chad&page=09draftpreview-080627

so take solace in this, because Walsh and D'Antoni reaized that they couldnt adequately fill the need for a passing PG while fully taking advantage of the talent available at the 6 spot, and they DIDNT force a PG pick. They know we're gonna be lottery bound next year, and we'll have plenty of PG's to look at...at least 6 in the top 15 players, possibly, according to ford as well as draftexpress....

I was on some other team blogs recently, namely some blogs focused on atlantic conference teams. Hardly any of them the knicks can make the playoffs. I mean i know 33 wins isn't impressive nor is it near 500, AND we dropped 15-19 or some shit at the end, but...we did free fall because of all thei njuries, right?

right???

We were in position to make the 8 spot until that slide and the injuries.

I feel like the knicks were better than 33 wins, and i feel like other fans of other teams can't be stupid enough to not know what i jusr rambled on about.

And i mean shit zach randolph is better than frye, at everything including shooting.

Am i just tellingmyself this till its true, or do the other blogs know something i'm ignoring???
