(WSCR) Hours after the Bulls were dealt the most devastating blow in recent memory with the loss of Derrick Rose for the season, Kyle Korver reached out to Rose on Facebook.

Here’s what Korver wrote:

Right about now, the disbelief has faded, anger has subsided and were all wondering… why? Why. Why. Why Derrick, again? Derrick is more than an MVP to our team. He’s our friend, our brother he inspires us to be the very best we can be, just by who he is and how hard he plays. That he has spent so much time this year hurt, was frustrating. Now that he is out for the rest of the season, well its… just plain sad. No one is to blame; what happened, did. We send him our prayers, our love, our good wishes that he heals and comes back stronger, better, healthier than ever before.

Bulls fans. Now is not the time to ask why or to get bitter. Now is the time to refocus and ask "How are we going to win this Championship?" We have the best Team in the league. This season has proven, we are a TEAM and it has taken us ALL to have the best record. Lets focus on whats ahead. This is an incredible opportunity for All of Us to step up and make it happen. We’re all gonna have to work harder and smarter. We are all gonna have to believe in ourselves. That we are more than the sum of our parts. We need YOU to believe with Us. We need You to believe for Us. We are going to keep going strong. One quarter, one game, one round at a time. Until its over. That’s how we’re gonna do it.

D. Rose "The Rule"

"I was very serious about wanting to play in Chicago," Wade said. "I visualized myself being alongside Derrick Rose many times and Joakim Noah and all those guys many times.

Carlos Boozer was a great addition to the team last season, but he struggled a little bit during the playoffs. What do you expect from him and the rest of the guys next season?

DR: Everybody is working out hard right now. If everyone comes in and work on their game, I think that we have a good shot of winning without getting anybody to come to my team. I think everything was just so new… Last year was my first time getting past the first round of the playoffs. Everything was just new to everybody, and that thing is gonna help us. Last year was the base for our team and the sky’s the limit for us.

So you don’t feel you need any additions to the roster?

DR: We don’t need it right now. If we sign somebody that can definitely fit… But to me I think that we are OK.

"You listen to their music. They come out and see you play," Rose said. "Rappers want to be hoopers, and hoopers want to become rappers. I don’t know why both of them are just like that, but we have a connection somehow.
