Bleeding Green Nation Watkins now ahead of DeVan on Depth Chart

Like many other fans, I'm sure, I have been wondering when the coaching staff was planning on getting Danny Watkins back into the starting rotation.  Kyle has done a fair job (fewer penalties this week) but there is no doubt that Watkins should bring a much more physical presence to the position.  So the question has been, how much longer does Danny need to pick up enough of Mudd's system to be able to surpass the contribution we expect from DeVan?

I thought I'd scan some of the official philadelphiaeagles.com site to try and see if I could get any update on Watkins' practice reps, and to my surprise saw Watkins as the #1 at RG ahead of DeVan.  Unfortunately, I haven't checked the official depth chart for awhile, so I don't know if/when it might have shown DeVan as the #1 - or if it is still a holdover from the first week roster.

Anyone else know if this represents a change for the 49ers game or if it is just a stale depth chart??

Bleeding Green Nation Nick Cole Re-Signed

Just caught the news on Yahoo that we have re-signed Nick Cole, though no details disclosed.  It makes sense since in all likelihood Jamaal won't be 100 percent come September - but hope this won't reduce the priority of drafting some O-line depth with our pile o' picks.  I don't have the film nor the expertise to evaluate his 'pivot' move, and I know that he was filling in for JJ without a whole lot of reps at the position, but I put the falloff in run yards/carry at the end of last year squarely at his feet (along with slow-feet Jean-Gilles who can hold territory, but not move anyone out of theirs either).  Assuming that we are hearing the facts about Stacy really being ready now, are there any more informed commentators with a view on whether we should be thinking C, OG or OT as the priority?
