My name is Nik Scalise, Founder of Provenplays.com. The blog is intended to interact with current members as well as uncovering new sport fans across the country. We are always up for promoting new blogs and hoping to meet new fans who bring unique thoughts and banter particularly to football and basketball.

ProvenPlays was founded in the summer of 2007 by some friends seeking to compete amongst each other picking games across all sports based on Las Vegas made odds. This basic competition expanded to a larger audience and subsequently evolved into a fantasy like contest with leaderboards, pick statistics, discussions and various ways to uncover pick expertise.

As a result, we decided to streamline our efforts while at the same time enhancing the user experience, thus ProvenPlays.com. We listened to our friends and contestants to create a leading edge sports community powered by user-defined picks (based on odds) and statistics that include sport discussions, real time scores, content and contests all uniquely built around the latest social community technology. We even added a buy and sell functionality for the most distinguished pick experts and Vegas gamblers.
