Olympic hockey convert & general sports n00b, video game artist, mom of hockey-obsessed kid. Originally from Los Angeles where I worked in film, now married to my best friend & living happily ever after in Vancouver. I've always been bored silly by sports, but when Team Canada won the Olympics I Saw The Light. Or maybe I caught hockey love from a doorknob up here, who really knows. Sometimes I don't get you, Canada, but you know I love you anyways.

I follow two teams because I have a lot of years of not realizing how awesome hockey is to make up for, plus, my 8 year old won't let me play the Canucks when we play NHL11 so I had to pick a second favorite and I could never resist a rescue dog.
