No Holds Barred Friday Fanpost!
I think it's time to start the weekend with another Friday anything goes, no holds barred Friday fanpost.?
via http://www.canada.com/ ^^Rider Fan^^
It's Grey Cup weekend for the CFL, and for you typical Mir like Americans that is the Canadian Football League equivalent to the Superbowl. Once again the Saskatchewan RoughRiders & Montreal Alouttes will be battling for the highly prestigious Grey Cup!! Who would of thought out of all eight teams it would come down to these two once again? The favourite Alouttes have steam rolled with ease into the big game as the Roughriders had to go through an overtime game and battle tell the last seconds against those pesky cry baby Stampeders. Even though the Riders will be underdogs my prediction is the Riders will take the game by 21 points!!
Without wasting anymore space it's T&A time!! Please feel free to share maniacs.

CMA Advocating For Ban Of MMA In Canada
The Canadian Press
8/19/2010
TORONTO -- Joe Doerksen isn't sure what all the fuss is about. As far as the mixed martial arts fighter is concerned, his sport is no more dangerous than most other high-contact contests and might even be safer than many recreational pursuits.
"Ridiculous" is how the 11-year veteran of cage-fighting describes a call by the B.C. Medical Association to have mixed martial arts bouts banned in Canada.
The doctors group wants its national body, the Canadian Medical Association, to consider a resolution at its annual meeting next week that would seek to deliver a knock-out punch to the popular sporting event in Canada.
The CMA has been advocating for a ban on amateur and professional boxing since 2001. But the organization has no policy on MMA and won't comment on the B.C.-sponsored resolution, which may come before delegates -- or not.
Still, BCMA president Dr. Ian Gillespie is counting on the issue being discussed at the Niagara Falls, Ont., meeting, because he believes MMA is an inherently dangerous sport that could lead to catastrophic injuries among participants.
"MMA fighting, like boxing, is distinct from many other sports in that the basic intent of the fighter is to cause harm in order to incapacitate his or her opponent," Gillespie said from Vancouver. "And what distinguishes MMA fighting from boxing is the use of various techniques to do so that aren't limited to punching, and there may be the presence of fewer safety rules."
"For instance, allowing a fighter to continue to attack when his or her opponent is down."
MMA fighters employ a combination of eight martial arts techniques, including boxing, kick boxing, karate, judo and wrestling. The object is to win by knockout, technical knockout or an opponent's submission.
Punches and kicks to parts of the head and body are hallmarks of the rough and tumble bouts, as are choke and arm holds that can cause an opponent to lose consciousness or cause joint damage. Pummelling the back of the head, the spine or groin of an opponent is a definite no-no, but a blow to the temple would be a legitimate hit.
And the risk of concussion -- particularly multiple concussions over time -- is the injury that most worries doctors.

With the major announcement that MMA will be sanctioned in Ontario will CMA cause any problems or even worse get MMA in Canada banned? CMA has been trying to ban boxing since 2001 and though they had little success MMA is a sport with many critics and stopping something that has not been established they may have more success with. I can't see them stopping the bigger organizations myself? But with new regulations the smaller organizations may not be able to afford the cost that may come from new regulations?
"All Aboard The Pain Train Chug a Chug a Choo Choo!!" + Brocky Video(Puck Head approved)
I have to give a shout out to SHORT BUS for posting the link to this video on another thread. Great find my man, this video is sweet!
It was no easy task facing Carwin who is the hardest striker in MMA and strongest opponent Brock will probably ever face, but Brock managed to prove many doubters wrong with his tremendous heart and iron chin what a champion is made of and was able to secure the win via submission?! Something else the doubters thought Brock would never do.
Brock did show a lot of weakness many fans are jumping on to discredit him as being the best? But lets get real here Brock is human if his stand up was good he would be nearly impossible to beat! The fact that he had such weakness against the heaviest hands in MMA and was able to still pull off the win is even more a credit to him. It will push Brock in training to improve this weakness, and that is a scary thing for all upcoming opponents if he improves just a little.
Now lets talk about the punishment Brock took from Carwin, is there any other man that could of took the shots that Brock took? I highly doubt it and like I said many of the doubters have ignorantly claimed that Brock's chin was weak, he would fold after taking one of Carwin's shots and tap like a b^tch ..etc Well Brock not only proved he can take the most deadly strikes in MMA he also proved he has tremendous heart and determination as this was one of the greatest comeback wins ever in the UFC.
And how about the arm triangle! Oh oh Brock is adding submissions to his his arsenal. When all is said and done Brock has shown weakness but he also showed great improvement and strengths not seen before, adding submissions to his all ready deadly ground game is only the beginning as he's still far from his potential and that's scary considering he is all ready the Champ in the toughest heavy weight division in MMA. Maybe Carwin actually helped by knocking Brock's ring rust off?
The Pain Train is growing and our rivals at ABM or looking foolish, but hey that's what happens when you doubt greatness.
I have not seen my rival mania debater StrikerDave around? Just in case he can't find his new sig and picture we bet on let him know he can find it here thanks.

UFC Undisputed 2010 All Fighters Overall Ranking
The overall rating for UFC have been released ,and as in any game there is going to be mixed opinions on the ratings. As you will be able to see by the list the highest rated fighter is 79, so assume the ratings are out of 80?
First glance one fighter I think is rated to low that I know I want to use is Jon Jones, how can Vera and Hamil be ahead of him? Now maybe Undisputed uses a system that really drops the fighters overall ability if they are rated lower in even one area, example maybe Jones JJ ability is 30ish and because of that drops his overall more than Vera who is decent at all areas?

Should Free Agent Jake Shield's Sign with Strikeforce or the UFC?
After the fight Jake spoke with Loretta Hunt on his future and stated that he is going to see what offers come through. No doubt Jake's win over Hendo has dramatically increased his value. Regardless if you like his style or not him leaving Strikeforce would be a huge blow to Strikeforce and I don't know if Strikeforce can afford to let him go, on the other hand can they afford to keep a fighter with small drawing power to casual MMA fans because of his fighting style. And were would this all lead Henderson? I really don't know if Strikeforce was expecting this happen, even the commentators made it sound like Strikeforce wanted him to lose?
Now the UFC can afford to pay a fighter like Shields because they have higher drawing power fighters to match up against Shields, and they can also deliver a blow not only to Strikeforce but Dan Henderson. I don't know if the UFC can pass on an opportunity like this. Shields against GSP sounds like a great match up?
What do you maniacs think about everything that could possibly happen and how it will effect both organizations?

Brock Lesnar-'If Shane Carwin is a better version of Brock Lesnar, then the fight’s over in the first 30 seconds'
via i.cdn.turner.com
Interview with Josh Elliot from Sportcentre
"I’m 100 percent recovered, I’ve been able to step back and re-evaluate my life and re-evaluate my training, and I’m on track. I’m excited for Saturday night to see these two big heavyweights battle it out for the interim championship, and the winner of those two guys I’m looking forward to fighting in mid-summer."
"That was a business decision that the UFC had to make. Really, that belt is a make-believe belt to satisfy the company and to satisfy the people in the heavyweight division. I’m still the heavyweight champion."
"What’s said outside of the Octagon is all purely entertainment. I dislike Frank. There isn’t an opponent in the Octagon that I really truly like. That’s the battle of competition. I’m not a grudge-holder, but the first and foremost thing to me is, when I get in that Octagon I respect no one. And that’s the bottom line for me."
"If Shane Carwin is a better version of Brock Lesnar, then the fight’s over in the first 30 seconds. I feel bad for Frank. Frank has a history of putting his foot in his mouth and let’s just see what happens Saturday night. I’m anxious to fight either one of those opponents. Both of them I’ve got some history with. I can sit back and watch and let these guys fight over who wants to come after Brock Lesnar, the UFC heavyweight champion."
Alves vs Fitch, The Fight Without The Hype!?
Either way the MMA community consensus is the #2 welter weight in the world will be crowned with the upcoming Thiago "The Pitbull" Alves vs Jon Fitch UFC 111 bout, but why so little hype? Is Fitch really that boring of a fighter to the MMA world that the UFC has decided to shy away from promoting this fight, is the GSP/Hardy and Mir/Carwin fight enough or is there still bad blood between Dana and Fitch?
Regardless of opinion Fitch(21-3) has only lost to GSP since 2002, regardless of his style their is no doubt Fitch knows how to win and has little problems with any other opponent besides of coarse GSP. His mauling style may seem boring to some of the more casual MMA fans, but there is no doubt his ability to control the fight and take the will power out of his opponent is only out done by the great GSP. With a win over Alves their is nothing else to prove and is very deserving to get another shot at the belt.
And one of the top young fighter in the world and most fierce strikes in Alves who has only lost to Fitch and GSP himself since 2005 is one of MMA's most exciting welter weights in the world. His leg strikes are some of the most wicked strikes in MMA, though they do leave him exposed to takedowns, he must learn to not over use them against Fitch or GSP. This is a fight Alves must try and keep standing and a perfect fighter to go against and prove worthy of another title shot.
I give the stand up to Alves and the ground game to Fitch, both for obvious reasons and it will come down to who can dictate were the fight takes place. But regardless this fight is a huge fight in the MMA world and needs to be talked about more. Both the GSP and Mir fight could be quick fights, but this fight is by far the "guaranteed" most even fight of the night with two top three welter weights any way you put it!
My pick in this one is Alves in the third by TKO, I believe he will be improved and is more focused and ready for the take down than ever. Below are a couple quotes from both fighters, please leave your opinions below maniacs and start hyping a great fight.
“I’m thrilled and already prepared. I’ve been waiting for this fight for four years and now I got the chance for the revenge. I like revenges. It’s time to payback. I think I was too young when we fought. I wasn’t new in the sport but was in UFC. This American system of losing weight, everything else… Nowadays, I’m a totally different fighter. I learned a lot and I am more experienced and a much better fighter when it comes to standing, wrestling, jiu-jitsu… It couldn’t be a better time. I’m coming off a loss and I want to go back to the winners list. Beating Fitch, I will fight for the belt again. I want to take him on, and go after the belt, no matter who holds it. I think Saint Pierre is going to win but you never know. If it’s Dan Hardy, I’ll take the belt from him and get the revange with St. Pierre next.” - Alves
"I’ve made huge improvements in my last year of training. I think I’m at the point where I can technically matchup with [Georges St. Pierre] and I think I can beat him. I think right now I’m a better fighter than him. I’m just waiting for the opportunity to prove it. [Thiago Alves] is a very powerful guy with great leg kicks. Since the last time we fought he has grown mentally. He is just all-around a stronger opponent mentally and physically since we last met. It’s going to be a hell of a fight and I believe it’s a fight I need to prove that I deserve a rematch against GSP." - Fitch
Will We See a Improved Paul Buentello against Kongo?
With much talk of Paul's lack of training before the Struve fight, and lack of performance in the fight it was no surprise Paul left California's American Kickboxing Academy. But as his UFC on Versus bout with Cheick Kongo approaches, little word has escaped about where The Headhunter was getting ready. Buentello recently said there's a reason for that. "I kept the whole thing of me coming out to Denver and me training here in Denver (a secret), how I'm surrounding myself with these trainers," Buentello recently told mmajunkie radio.
For the first time in his career, Buentello is training with the well known crew of Grudge Training Center for the March 21 fight. Home to such UFC fighters as Shane Carwin, Nate Marquardt, Eliot Marshall and Brendan Schaub, Grudge Training Center also holds another bonus for Buentello: located across town from the host venue of UFC on Versus 1 in another section of suburban Denver, the facility shares the same mile-high altitude as the 1STBANK Center."It was just that the fight was here in Denver in the high altitude," Buentello said. "I think it's just a smart move to train where I'm going to be fighting at because high altitude is really hard to get adjusted to."
Buentello actually began his high-altitude training prior to the start of training camp."I went to a nutritionist retreat," Buentello said. "I was out in the Mojave Desert for 10 days, and all we did was train all day long. It was nothing strenuous like MMA training. It was just all conditioning. I have it on my website at PaulBuentello.com. I have it on one of my blogs. "Wake up in the morning, do some stretching, run four miles. At that retreat, it was 3,500 feet above sea level. It's about the halfway point from what Denver is at."Known more for his power than his conditioning, Buentello said the retreat helped him to discover a new way of training.
"I've always had a problem with numbers," Buentello said. "If you told me to do 50 or 100 or 300 squats, it kind of bogged me down and got me unmotivated, but I got the workout done. At this place it was really working on pushing the body to different limits because these workouts I was doing was two to three hours long, and it was two to three hours, exactly. It was just over and over repeated stuff, and I did that for 10 days. Then I had three days off, and then I came out to Denver."Once in Denver, Buentello added even more surprises to his revised regimen.
"Another secret is that I hired Mike van Arsdale, and I attached him to my hip," Buentello said. "Basically, he's with me 24-7, from the morning until the evening, waking me up and getting me to the gym, and he's totally in charge of all the conditioning and all the wrestling drills."You know Mike van Arsdale has a real extensive background in wrestling, and he's been around a long time, so he knows how to push the body to a different level."But while van Arsdale has been pushing Buentello physically, it's another new face that the Texan credits with sharpening his techniques and focusing his mind.
"I was fortunate enough to get hold of Trevor Wittman through Rashad Evans," Buentello said. "The thing about it that was so interesting was the first time I met Trevor, he told me to come to the gym at 3 o'clock. I came to the gym with all my gear, ready to go, and the first thing he wanted to do was sit down and have a meeting and talk about my strong points and my weak points. He was surprised that I was thinking of myself as having more weak points. Even in the striking game, I was explaining how I feel I'm weak in this area and weak in that area. He was quite surprised that I was being honest.
"So I asked him, 'What are we going to do today?' He said, 'Nothing. We're going to have this meeting, we're going to get to know each other, what we have to work on, and you come in tomorrow, and you're just going to spar two rounds.'"Buentello said through the unique approach of Wittman, the added motivation and drive from van Arsdale and the bonus of training at high altitude, he'll be in peak form for Kongo.
"I think its was a huge move for me; I think it was a perfect move for me to come to Denver," Buentello said. "The main factor is that it's a real organized gym. This is probably the most organized training camp I've ever had." Buentello insisted that his attacking demeanor in the cage won't be altered at all by his new surroundings, but he hinted that he might have added takedowns into his growing arsenal."You never know; you might see it this time," Buentello said. "Cheick Kongo might come out, and he might be lightning-fast on his hands and feet, and I might have to push him in the cage and do a suplex or something. "Mike van Arsdale told me a saying: 'There ain't a horse that can't be rode, and there ain't a man that can't be throwed.'"
props:mma junkie
For all you maniacs in the MacArthur pool or making other wagers elsewhere I would take note. Paul has always been a good fighter but he has looked out of shape and one dimensional in his last fights, with saying that I don't think one camp will change his game dramatically but it may put him over Kongo? I think this will be a great fight personally, and it may even be the most competitive fight of the night, and after learning this I'm a little worried with my Kongo pick in Macs pool.
Who Should Face Brock Lesnar Next?
It's been stated by Dana that the winner of Carwin and Mir will face Lesnar most likely at UFC 116 in July if no major injuries occur too the winner. If there happens to be an injury to the winner of the Mir and Carwin fight Dana recently stated at UFC 110 post fight conference that Cain would be next in line for a shot at the belt.
Is two wins enough to justify another shot at the belt for Mir? In my opinion Mir is #2 HW fighter in the UFC right now followed closely by JDS and Cain, but as a fan I would be much more pleased to see the champ fight someone other than Mir for the third time in five fights. In my opinion fighting Mir for the third time will prove nothing to all the Brock critics out there. A fight against another top HW would be much more beneficial in proving to all the critics Brock is for real, assuming he wins of coarse, were beating Mir will not prove anything to most of his critics?
I'm under the assumption that Dana and Mir have has conversations about this and thats why we are hearing Mir talking more about Brock than his upcoming opponent Carwin, in hopes of keeping him in the media spotlight and hype himself as the fighter us fans want to see face Brock.
The question is MMA fans, what do you want to see? I put what I believed to be the top four choices, please feel free to state your reasons for making your pick.
Alistair Overeem will defend the Strikeforce Heavy Weight Title in May
Coker announced on Hardocore Sports Radio's Fight Show that Overem will be defending the heavy weight title in May, to a opponent yet be decided. It will be interesting to see who is opponent will be with Fedor fighting Werdum. I would like to see Rogers get the chance personally.
Also announced
- Erin Toughill will be the next opponent for Cris Cyborg, targeting a late summer title fight.
- The 145 pound women's tournament will have a Summertime launch.
- Nick Diaz will go up and down in weight, fight out of his weight class but also defend the welterweight title.
- Herschel Walker will want to fight again and Strikeforce will support him. The $600 purse took care of licensing fees, as he was not fighting for a purse and donated his purse to charity.
- Despite WEC and UFC pay per views, Strikeforce is still targeting April CBS show.
- Jake Shields offered fight contract but not yet signed.
- Mousasi vs King Mo: will happen but not yet confirmed.

Maniacs NFL Divisional Champioship Picks Round 2
Tough week guys no one picked all four correct, so we go down to who had three of four and that left us with five for the divisional championship weekend. .
Only two will advance to the Super Bowl picks week, so I'm adding a few tie breaking rules if necessary. Of coarse pick your teams as usual followed by the tie breaker picks.
Tie Breaker
1) Point Spread - State what you think each of your picks will win by, how far your scores off will go against you in the tie breaker on both games. Example I pick the Colts to win by 21 and they win by 14, I would receive 7 points against me and pick the Saints to win by 7, and they actually win by 10, 3 points against me for a total of 10. The lowest total on the tie breaker advance
2) Hopefully we don't need another tie breaker but just incase also pick the player you think will score the first TD in each game, it doesn't have to be a player on the team you picked to win.
Even though I'm out I'll make my early predictions, of coarse anybody is welcome to make their predictions and opinions. And good luck to McArthur, Diceman, MMAChamp,GOLDIGGAH & Amos14.
Vikes by 3 pts. first TD = M.Colston(Saints)
Colts by 24 pts. first TD = D.Clark(Indy)

UFC 113: Machida vs. Shogun 2 coverage
Sounds like the Pac man super fight will not be happening but once again boxing decides to put on a star powered fight the same night as UFC 113. This is kind of interesting to see how the UFC will fair against boxing, I don't believe the UFC will win the war this time but if this fight does happen the UFC will have the Internet sensation Kimbo in their corner. Will Kimbo be enough to battle for PPV ratings against boxing superstars, will it matter either way, will Kimbo and the super fight between Rua and Machida steal the majority of PPV from boxing or will boxing take away many PPV draws from the UFC?
Boxing has a larger potential PPV audience to begin with and I'm sure will beat any PPV numbers the UFC can at this point, but I believe the MMA numbers will be effected little by this fight as only a small percentage of MMA fans are boxing fans, those that are will choose a Rua vs. Machida fight especially over Mosley instead of Pac Man vs Mayweather, and then of coarse you have Kimbo added on top of it all, maybe not every MMA fans favorite fighter but he is a big draw added to a great card.
MMAManiacs NFL Divisional Championship Playoff Picks Round 2
Remember to get your picks in

MMAManiacs NFL Divisional Playoff Football Picks

Hey maniacs this weekend has some good action. let's make it a little more exciting to see what maniac can get bragging rights by the end of the NFL season.
This round I'm going to make the rules simple, to get into next round only those that picked all four correct will be in next weekends pool. I might add more rules to next weekends games depending on how many get through this weekend with all four right. I 'll list the names of all those that went four and four and be in next weeks picks. If there is little interest this will be just for fun with those that decide to play.
Here are my picks: Chargers, Colts, vikings and Cards
Brock Lesnar's fighting future to be revealed next week via press conference
UFC President Dana White has revealed that both he UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar will hold a joint press conference next week in Las Vegas to discuss Brock's future as a mixed-martial-artist.
White confirmed the news to MMAfighting.com recently on a trip to New York, refusing to elaborate on the nature of the press conference, only saying Lesnar’s future would be out in the open. Confusing yet very positive reports have surfaced recently with Randy Couture revealing previous conversations with the champ and that he's already back in training and may be fighting by spring.
Lesnar required surgery to repair damage inflicted by intestinal diverticulitis. The promotion recently announced that number one contender Shane Carwin will battle former champion Frank Mir at UFC 111 in his absence and we may finally know by the end of next week if that bout will be contested for an interim title or the true title (if the Minnesotan is forced to surrender the belt in anticipation of a long or permanent absence).
Randy Couture Believes Brock Will Be Back In the Octagon By Spring.
The mystery around Brock's health has caused many speculations and questions around the MMA world as of late. Brock's Facebook status mid last week stated he could be out the rest of the year and with the interim belt being fought for many believed this could easily be true. As Randy Couture reports on Inside MMA aired on HDNET Friday after recently speaking to Lesnar he doesn't believe that is the case as Brock is training right now and will be fighting by spring!?
If this is true personally the best news of the year, but why the Facebook status and the silence from Dana? And if this is true is there any point of an interim title, what does this do to the HW division and why the silence?
I'm thinking right now that Brock may of had good news but the doctors may are not 100 percent sure he's past this yet and need another check up down the road, and before Brock lets the media know he wants to be sure as it would be another media circus if he stated he was coming back then had to report down the road he would need more time?
Give me your opinions, Maniacs.
Lesnar's Sparring Partner Cole Konrad to make MMA debut in 2010
Another Wrestler transitioning to MMA!!
Could a former two-time NCAA heavyweight champion be on the verge of crossing over to mixed martial arts? If sources are to be believed, yes.
FiveOuncesOfPain.com has learned that Cole Konrad, who finished first in the NCAAs in 2006 and 2007 in the 285 lbs. division and proceeded Brock Lesnar on the University of Minnesota wrestling team, is set to make his MMA debut early this year. And according to sources close to the fighter, his debut could come as soon as this month.
While Conrad’s entry into professional mixed martial arts may sound rushed, the 26-year old Wisconsin native has actually been training MMA for the past two years. Soon after Marty Morgan resigned as a coach with the University of Minnesota wrestling team to join Lesnar as his full-time wrestling coach, he recruited Konrad to serve as a full-time training partner to the current UFC heavyweight champion.
After college, the four-time All-American’s initial goal was to follow in the footsteps of fellow former NCAA heavyweight champion and current New England Patriots All-Pro OL Stephen Neal and make it in the NFL. Despite not having played football in college, Konrad was invited to try out for the New York Jets prior to the 2008 regular season.
Now a full-time resident of Minnesota, Konrad splits his time training at Greg Nelson’s Minnesota Martial Arts Academy in Minneapolis and also at Lesnar’s home training facility in Alexandria, Minn. In addition to training with Lesnar and also sharing a similar pedigree, Konrad is also co-managed by Lesnar’s manager, Brian Stegeman.
Sources also have revealed to FiveOuncesOfPain.com that Konrad is already drawing significant interest from both DREAM in the United States as well as the upstart Bellator Fighting Championships, which could conduct its first-ever heavyweight tournament this August.
(Props: Fiveouncesofpain.com)
Konrad won a gold medal at the 2005 Pan-American Championships. He also won the NCAA wrestling championships in 2006 and 2007 at 285 pounds and finished third at the 2006 World University Championships at 120 kilograms. Many believe wrestling is one of the best if not best pedigree to transition into MMA and I'm going to keep my eye on Cole, I beleive he may be a name we hear in the future. And you know if he trains with Lesnar he trains as hard as anyone, will he be a Lesnar? I doubt it Lesnar is one of a kind but i beleive Cole with the help of Lesnars camp will be a force in the future.
Brock may be out all of 2010, Edgar get's the next shot at BJ & possible Daley vs. KOS
Props: mmaconnected.com
From a recent post on Brock Lesnar’s official Facebook page:
NEW UPDATE!! Brock has had more problems (we can’t say what they are) and he could be out all of this year if things don’t get better. Brock wants to thank all of his fans for their support and for the nice messages so thanks guys.
Though we’ve yet to see the official update that we were promised this week, let this be your advance warning that Lesnar won’t be returning this summer. In other unconfirmed news…
— SI’s Josh Gross hears that Frankie Edgar will get the next shot at BJ Penn’s lightweight belt in April, regardless of Gray Maynard’s performance against Nate Diaz at UFC Fight Night 20 on Monday. Edgar (11-1, 6-1 UFC), most recently submitted Matt Veach at the TUF 10 finale, holds wins over Sean Sherk, Hermes Franca, and Tyson Griffin, and previously lost a decision to Maynard in April 2008.
— According to MMA Live host Jon Anik, a match between knockout artist Paul Daley and perennial top contender Josh Koscheck is being discussed for May or June. Between Daley’s recent destructions of Martin Kampmann and Dustin Hazelett, and Koscheck’s wins over Frank Trigg and Anthony Johnson, both guys have a lot of heat behind them right now. Feels like a #1 welterweight contender fight to us…
All of 2010!? For all us Brock fans this is bad news let's hope they are stating the worst case scenerio? Edgar deserves a shot as much as any other LW in my mind. And do you think if the Daley and KOS fight happens does the winner deserve the next title shot?

Potential Henderson vs. Fedor fight?!
Sherdog's Loretta Hunt reports from a reliable source that Henderson is going to probably fight Jake Shields first then be eyed to fight Gegard and Fedor. I take it Dan will have to win both against Shields and Gegard before a Fedor fight even thought of but there is a good chance that may happen, what do think of a possible Fedor and Henderson fight. I can see this being one of Hendersons reasons for fighting with SF and something that will give Dan motivation to continue fighting.
