Okay, the Fly-boys definitely got outplayed (in fact, they never showed up) in Game 1 and while they did battle their asses off in Game 2 – a win was not in the cards for the Bullies as the Pens got the AMAZING 2 man advantage in OT in a freakin PLAYOFF SERIES!!! Are you kiddin me with this crap???? I’m trying really hard to not say what I want to say ( and pardon the whine) but could the refs possibly tilt this game to the Pen favor any more? This is so last year with the Capitals. Okay…we get it – Syd the Kid and Malkin are dynamic players, and yes – the Pens have been on a big tear in the latter part of the season since getting a new head coach….but come on – the calls that are being made are ridiculous and giving a team advantage (in OT) is NOT the hockey I rememeber.

I’d look for the Flyers to get both games back in Philly and make this a best of 3 series. What they do with that opportunity, is totally up to them. I know Stevens is only the coach and he’s not out there playing the game….but good coaches find a way to motivate their teams….especially now – so I’d expect a better effort out the Flyers. Otherwise…..Mr Stevens may be looking for employment elsewhere come next year. You cant have the talent pool he has and NOT find a way to get this done. If that happens Mr Stevens…..please take Carcillo with you and bring Scottie back – the boys ain’t been right right since it happened. That’s whhat I think anyway!!!!!
