Arizona Cardinals at St. Louis Rams: Know Thy Enemy Edition

For the St. Louis Rams, they have had a very rough go of it the past few seasons. They have managed to win just 6 games out of their last 41, currently making them one of the worst teams in the NFL. Part of this is because of the youth movement...

Dick Jauron Becomes First Head Coach to get Fired this Season

Jauron never lead his team to a winning season in the 3 and a half season he was head coach. His final record with the Bills was 24-33. This will most likely be his last head coaching job as he also failed as head coach of the Chicago Bears from 1999-2003 and as the interim coach of the Detroit Lions in 2005. *Update* According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, Defensive coordinator Perry Fewell will be the interim head coach for the team.

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals: Know Thy Enemy Edition

In week sixes edition of Know Thy Enemy, we talked about Matt Hasselbeck being the player to watch. He remains a player to watch at all times in this game, week ten, but there are other players that you need to know about. There are several players that standout but none more than defensive end Patrick Kerney.

Vote for Warner

Kurt Warner is up for the FedEx Air Player of the Week. His competition is Phillip Rivers and Big Ben. Both had nice games but not quite as good as the game Warner had. While your there vote for Tennessee's Chris Johnson for the thumping he gave the 49ers in the ground game.

I could not help it I had to post this audio of Brad Childress talking about Brett Favre's groin.

Arizona Cardinals at Chicago Bears: Know Thy Enemy Edition

In the first 7 weeks of football the Arizona Cardinals defense allowed just 67.5 yards rushing per game, in week 8 the Cards allowed 270 to the Carolina Panthers. This was just one of their major problems that happened last week but was probably the biggest reason we lost, outside of the turnovers.

Carolina Panthers Trample the Arizona Cardinals: 34-21

Last weeks the Cardinals came out and played a great game against the New York Giants and they did not really get any national recognition for it. They came out complaining over the fact that they made the Giants look like the lost the game rather than the Cardinals winning it.

Cardinals / Vikings Game Could go Prime Time

If all goes well for the Cardinals over this next five game stretch, in which they play teams with a combined 7-24 record, than we could be seeing the Vikings at Cardinals game being moved to Sunday Night Football.

Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals: Know Thy Enemy Edition

Last year the Carolina Panthers were able to build a very good team that had a pretty good defense and an offense built around their young running backs Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams. This offense they had would let Stewart and Williams rush for a combined 2,351 yards...

Cardinals Starting to Become a Force as they stun the Giants 24-17.

Since the Arizona Cardinals came to Arizona they have had one continuous problem facing them, winning on the road. Prior to this season the team has won just 18 games out of 80 on the road in the past 10 years. This year the Cardinals came into Sunday winning one game on the east coast,

Cardinals Dominate in 27-3 Win over the Seahawks

Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks: Know Thy Enemy Edition

For the Arizona Cardinals they have had different problems pop up in each game that has worried not only the fans but the coaches too. These problems have consisted of the offensive line protection, the secondary allowing too many completed passes for big yardage, and not getting pressure on the opposing quarterback.

Houston Texans At Arizona Cardinals: Know Thy Enemy Edition Part Two

In part one we talked about how the Cardinals defense needs to start playing better, well their not the only part of the Cards that needs to start playing better. The offense has struggled to do anything in the two losses.

Houston Texans At Arizona Cardinals: Know Thy Enemy Edition Part One

In week three the Arizona Cardinals played absolutely horrible on both offense and defense. To their credit, they were playing a very good Indianapolis Colts team that's offense has been one of the best for the past several years and it's defense has been one of the best against the pass, in part because of their pass rush.

What 2010 will Look Like if it is an Uncapped Year

J.I. Halsell give pretty specific details as to what the 2010 year will look like if it's uncapped. He also gives some of the rules on how the signing of players will work. It's some pretty interesting stuff. You can also find a summary of this by Darren Urban here.

Arizona Cardinals Get Embarrassed by Colts: 31-10.

Who would have thought that at this point in the season that the Super Bowl teams from last year (Cardinals and Steelers) would start the 2009 season 1-2. The difference between the two is that the Steelers have just barely lost their two games while the Cardinals have gotten embarrassed in theirs.

Arizona Cardinals Offense Doesn't Show up in Loss to San Franciso 16-20

After a season in which the Arizona Cardinals offense looked explosive, they were anything but explosives in Sunday's loss. The unit failed to produce and favorable drives until the third quarter and that was it. The rest of the game was filled with mistake after mistake.

NFC West Breakdown: Arizona Cardinals

In 2008 the Arizona Cardinals shocked the world by winning their division, dominating in the playoffs, and coming within 2 minutes of winning the Super Bowl. They proved a lot of doubters wrong last season by proving that they can be a team that is competitive week in and week out but those doubters still carry over to this season.

NFC West Breakdown: San Francisco 49ers

The 49ers have had a rough go of it the past several seasons failing to register a winning record since the 2002 season.
