So Penn State has made the Top 10 for Tate Forcier. Nothing to surprising on the list. This List is

Arizona State
Florida
Michigan
Nebraska
New Mexico
Oregon
Penn State
Stanford
Texas A&M
Washington State

With a quick look at the final ten, you would assume New Mexico really has no chance. Michigan just got two QBs in Tate's class. Florida has about 15 QBs on the roster and Tate would spend a lot of team waiting to get his shot. Arizona State has Jack Elway and I don't think Tate wants to wait there. That being said, if he made a decision today i think it would look like this:

Stanford
Penn State
Nebraska
Texas A&M

Nebraska is the dark horse. No firery coach, great tradition, however not know for throwing the ball. Stanford has a couple of key factors that he might like:

In California
Brother is on team
Fromer NFL QB as Head Coach
John Elway

It is offical, Comcast and the BTN have married. Everyone else should fall into line. Comcast starts airing events on August 15th.

This is great day for Big Ten sports and recruiting! This was the worst kept secret in sports but i'm glad it finally got ironed out. I'm sure Verizon and Mediacom will follow shortly.

At least now if you don't get season tickets you won't miss Costal Carolina!

Well it seems we can't get away from all things Rutgers. ESPN.Com has joined in with another "Rutgers is getting recruits" piece.

Not sure if you realized this, but Rutgers landed a national QB prospect. I am surprised they did not mention all of the recruits Rutgers "stole" from Penn State.

It is interesting how they just glance over the fact that Notre Dame stole 3 of the states better prospects.

Kevin Newsome

Looks like we have our first big miss of the 2008 recruiting season. Kevin Newsome gave his verbal to scUM today.

This hurts. We need at least two QBs in this next class. With Newsome gone and Savage in with Rutgers, we have already lost 2 of our top 5. Tate Forcier is most likely going to stay on the West Coast much like his brothers (one transfered from Michigan a year ago to Stanford).

Where do we go from here? Newsome was our dual threat and Savage was our drop back passer.

I don't think there are any more Suhey's in the pipeline so something has to happen. We need a big splash.

Pryor a Buckeye

Well it is offical. It is actually more of a relief then anything else. As talented as the kid is, the headaches that might come would not be worth the 40% completion rate next year.

Devlin and Clark....Blue/White game is more important then ever now.

Hopefully in four years we can laugh about this guy.

Fighting Pryor

What is Penn State to do?

Another day, another news story about Pryor getting into a fight because a fan was taunting him. What do we do? Obviously, we are still trying to shed the bad taste in our mouths from the last 2 fights. Do we back off Pryor? Do we chalk it up as kids being kids? If the kid is already getting into fights now, what should we expect two years from now?

It seems like the maturity factor is not there for Pryor. One day he is making the right moves, the next he is getting into fights with players and fans at a basketball game.

Who is the real Terrelle Pryor?
