New Years Day Open Thread
New Year's Day Open College Football Thread. Discuss what you'd like here. Schedule of games and networks you can find them at after the jump. If the mods made their own thread, they just need to delete this one.
Saturday Football Open Thread
Feel free to discuss the other games today. Standford needs to get past OSU, and Michigan is fighting with Ohio State right now, and LSU/Arkansas is coming up later. Also feel free to continue talking about Boise, or you can bemoan your Jersey Contest picks, or you can panic about the upcoming Civil War. Of course, there is also the matter of your PAC 10 CHAMPIONS, THE OREGON DUCKS.
TV schedule after the jump.

Here's my emblem in the new Call of Duty game. Took me forever to make. Go Ducks!
The 2010 Oregon Ducks: A Team of Destiny.
As national polls everywhere are released, the Oregon Ducks, who were penciled in at the 4 spot in most polls, have fallen to 10th on average in most polls. But, fellow Duck fans, let me tell you exactly why this team will win the National Championship. It involves a little bit of crazy talk, and maybe a little too much belief in this team. But just hear me out.
(Apologies in advance for grammar. And not organizing my thoughts. And for sounding crazy.)
Pac-10 SB Nation blog NCAA 11 showdown.
Hello. The other day, I got a great idea of how the conference blogs could compete and trash talk in a way thats a bit more civilized then just name calling. I ran this idea by the guys at ATQ and some thought it could work. I'm now progressing through all the Pac-10 blogs passing along the idea.
I'm going to make an online dynasty when NCAA 11 comes out, and hopefully a representative from each Pac-10 (maybe even including Utah and Colorado) SB Nation blog will compete to see who is the better blog. By the way, I have no clue if this has been done before, and no idea if anyone of the 10 people in Pullman even own an Xbox, but I figured I should give it a shot.
Of course, entry is entirely up to you guys, and you can pick your representative any way you like (tournament, just picking someone, etc.) But it would be cool if everyone in the Pac -10 could represent their teams. Comment below if you're interested in the idea.

Wanna win a (virtual) Pac-10 Championship?
Hello, inhabitants of the land they call Pullman. The other day, I got a great idea of how the conference blogs could compete and trash talk in a way thats a bit more civilized then just name calling. Who is the best Pac-10 SB nation blog?
If you answered, California Golden Blogs, then you better be prepared to back it up. the other day, I got a great idea of how the conference blogs could compete and trash talk in a way thats a bit more civilized then just name calling. By the way, I have no clue if this has been done before, and there isn't a SB nation Furd blog, so obviously they will be left out.

Support the Beavers in NCAA 11
Hey, Building the Dam, just a friendly Duck fan here. the other day, I got a great idea of how the conference blogs could compete and trash talk in a way thats a bit more civilized then just name calling. SB Nation Pac-10 (12?) Blog NCAA 11 Online Dynasty Challenge Thing!!!!
So I was reading UWDawgPound trying to figure out how they could possibly hark on someone for calling out Curtis Williams when I saw a Jake Locker NCAA 11 cover. Looking into it, I saw that Fusky fans actually have enough brains to play an NCAA football game without drooling on a controller.
So I got a great idea.
What if I made an online dynasty when NCAA 11 comes out, and have a representative from each Pac-10 (maybe even including Utah and Colorado) SB Nation blog compete? Then, during the summer, there is something football related to talk trash and converse about between blogs. By the way, I have no clue if this has been done before, and no idea if anyone of the 10 people in Pullman even own an Xbox, but I figured I should give it a shot. Also, if someone who owns a PS3 who would like to do a dynasty on that console, that would be cool too.
What do you guys think? Who will actually be getting NCAA 11? Who should represent ATQ in this contest?
If enough people here think its a good idea, tomorrow I'll go post on the other Pac-10 blogs asking them if they would like the idea.
Can't wait to see this as a receiver in 2011...
Eddie Pleasant: Total Beast, Safety?
"Position changes: Dion Jordan and Brandon Hanna to defensive end, Eddie Pleasant to safety."
Second tweet down. Thoughts?
ETA: @TonyDiFrancisco Sorry, Pleasant moving to Rover, not SS. Aliottiās terminology screws me up
Lane Kiffin to USC.
He is apparently bringing his dad and Ed Orgeron with him.
NFL/Sunday DIXON WATCH thread
Well, its Sunday. NFL is on, and many AFC teams have a chance to make the playoffs, the Steelers are playing and Roethlisberger looks like he just hurt his hand, so I'm on Dixon watch. and USC Basketball has decided to forfeit all wins from 07-08 and will not be playing postseason basketball this year because of a Mr. OJ Mayo. Feel free to discuss or delete this, based on relevance.
Quack Quack.
Jake Locker is returning for his senior season. No more jokes towards Fuskie fans.
Rose Bowl Merch
The merch i've seen so far has been kinda disappointing, (What's with the helmets with the cursive "Oregon"? Could they not slap an "O" on there or are they just trying to look fancy or what) So I figured we could compile different sites here offering, and everyone could get their hook up. (I personally will be buying the shirt with the Duck with a CK visor on, from the Duck Store.)
Post Other Sites, and i'll keep adding some.
Blackout/Lights Out?
Hey. first post. I've been hearing rumors all week about blackouts/lights out. I've heard everything from it being just a fan blackout, to the extreme of UofO dyeing the field black with a yellow "O". Now, if i was living in Eugene now i would just check, but since im living in South Carolina, i was wondering if anyone could confirm or deny these rumors for me and let me know what's going on this weekend.
