Livan Hernandez is expected to be DFA by the twins in order to make room for Francisco Liriano... Any possibilities that the rays try to pick him up. i think he would be a good veteran presence in either the bullpen or end of our rotation in order to better our chances in the playoff run. Lo Duca and Felipe Lopez of the nationals were also said to be released... Lo Duca would had a great bat in our line up. What does everybody else think! Let me know!

What is the possibility of the rays picking up one or even both of these players. kei igawa was released by the yankees and cleared waivers and i feel he might make an impact in the bullpen. esteban loaiza on the other hand could put some depth in the starting rotation at the bottom in place of ejax or sonny and has had success in the pass and also would give a veteran in the bullpen that has been in the playoffs and knows what it is all about. he could even be used as a long reliever. both could be help for the rays down the line for cheap without having to give up any big time prospects....they wouldnt give up anybody at all! what does everybody think?

I think loaiza would be a great pick up for the rays...he would come at a cheap cost and be a great asset to a team that needs just one more good arm in that bullpen or even at the bottom of the rotation, need be. wHAT does everyone else think? This could also be a chance to get rid of Glover, who has done nothing to help our ever improving bullpen, I wouldnt mind seeing him go. what does everyone think?

Does anybody have any idea when they are going to start selling the Rays Batting practice hats? the old flex fit hats are awesome and I am just waiting to see when the new ones are going to be available... somebody out there has got to know something about the selling of all the Ray's stuff.....any ideas!?

MLB TradeRumors has mentioned the possibility of the Rays looking to sign Barry Bonds... how are people around the Rays world grumbling about the situation...Personally, I think besides all the trouble and problems Bonds has experienced around the MLB world, I still think he would be a good veteran fit into the Rays system if they can pick him up at not too high of price. He would be a good DH presence in the AL east, and that might allow the Rays to maybe offer Gomes as trade bait for a couple decent minor league pitchers.
