I have created two fantasy football leagues both very deep leagues.  One is a twenty team NFL Fantasy Football league and the other is a 10 team NFC only fantasy football league.  The scoring and roster settings in both leagues are identical.  I'm looking to fill each league with diehard fans of the actual teams.  We will be having a linear draft the week before the season begins.  Postions include every position on the field.  You will be allowed to keep 9 players from the Ravens including rookies.  Let me know if you're interested and feel free to offer suggestions on the league.  Settings after the jump.  Leave you're e-mail address if you want in the league(s)

Well guys I have some good news and some bad news.  As you all know the Braves have been no-hit tonight by Ubaldo Jimenez.  Quite frankly the guy reminded me a bit of Nolan Ryan.  Incredibly fast but inconsistent control.  Anyway here's the bad news.  Only one team in all of baseball has ever made the playoffs in a season in which they had a no hitter thrown agiasnt them.  The good news?  That team was the 2004 Atlanta Braves.  Randy Johnson throws a perfect game only a few days after Ben Sheets had a 15 strikeout game.  The Braves would go on to win 96 games and the divison by 10 games.  My point?  It's one game.  I still think we need one more bat in the outfield but we still have the pitching to make the playoffs.  Don't give up on this one!!!

Ivan Maisel reports Former Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville will be named the next football coach at Texas Tech.  I don't think this is a good match for Tech as Tubby loves to run the ball and Tech is known for doing anything but, and the fact that Tuberville can't recurit agianst another big name coach in-state.  It should be interesting though, an SEC coach in the Big 12.  It will take some time to win there because Texas and Oklahoma are still good.

This is my first fanpost and I need some help.  I have a cable issue DVR but need a DVD burner.  What make and model do you guys use? I will be using this to transfer the Alabama games I have on the DVR to DVD.  These will be for my own personal enjoyment and anybody who happens to be near me when I'm watching the games  (or toture to the ones in my family who root for Auburn)  Any help would be much appreciated!!!  Thanks in advance!
