Daily Norseman Trade up a few picks and take Fairley!

This kid will be an All-Pro for the next 15 years for the Minnesota Vikings!

Reports are that Fairley's draft stock is dropping. That is a good thing for the Minnesota Vikings.

This kid is the real deal, and immediately will show results. Go get this monster in the middle, we will soon need to replace Pat Williams fulltime.

Get it done, no excuses. Swap number ones this year and throw in a 3rd rounder next draft, that should about do it.

This monster in the middle will ultimately be a big factor in capturing the Lombardi Trophy.

Daily Norseman Colin Kaepernick Combine Interview........

"I really like this kid!" REVENGE4FAVRE responded.

Speaking before, oh, 17,000 fewer tape recorders than Newton, the rifled-armed Kaepernick, a former pitcher with a 94-mile-per-hour fastball, said he really hasn’t unleashed his heater on a football field since his sophomore season.

“Going into my junior, senior year I really started to develop the idea of throwing the ball so our receivers could make plays after they catch it,” the 6-5, 225-pound Kaepernick said. “So if I give them an easier ball to catch, they can catch it, get down the field and make plays. As opposed to, in the past, I just threw it as hard as I could and tried to put it on the spot where they might have to fight the ball a little bit to catch it.”

The NFL Network’s Mike Mayock believes Kaepernick is a second-round prospect after his impressive performance at the Senior Bowl. Like others, however, Mayock cautioned during a national conference call last week that the ultra-talented Kaepernick is a project NFL teams won’t be able to rush on the field.

The engaging Kaepernick, who sported a perma-grin at the podium, didn’t agree with that assessment today. But he did so very politely.

“I think during the Senior Bowl week I really showed how quickly I could pick up an NFL offense,” he said. “Drop back. Read coverage. Do all the things an NFL team will ask of me. But if it comes down to it and that’s what a team drafts me for (develop as a backup), I’ll be more than happy to do that for them.”

Kaepernick acknowledged that he’s trying to shorten his delivery – his long windup is one reason he’s earned the project label. But, with a 79 ½-inch wing span, he said there’s only so much shortening he can do.

“I’m definitely trying to quicken it up a little bit,” Kaepernick said. “At the same time, part of that comes from my wing span. I have very long arms.”

Acme Packing Company Favre talks about Team!

This is raw video from the the Packer Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on July 19th, 2008.

Just a couple of weeks before the Greatest Player in Packer History was shipped out of Titletown.

The three stooges (Murphy, McCarthy, and Thompson) were all there to witness it in person.

After Favre talked about teammates with the utmost sincerity , how could those idiots trade the face of the franchise away?

All you Favre Haters should be ashamed of yourselves. Hypocrites all of you!

Bashing a Legend is not right!

Daily Norseman "McDaniels, Please Go to the Rams!"

All can quote me on this one: "McDaniels, Please Go to the Rams!"

Josh McDaniels is an overrated arrogant punk of a coach!

Only thing he does well is CHEAT!

http://www.startribune.com/sports/vikings/113679654.html?elr=KArksLckD8EQDUoaEyqyP4O:DW3ckUiD3aPc:_Yyc:aUnciaec8O7EyUsl

Last update: January 15, 2011 - 9:16 AM

The Vikings are about to officially get some competition for Josh McDaniels.

More than a week after interviewing to become the team's offensive coordinator at Winter Park, McDaniels will meet with the St. Louis Rams about taking over play-calling duties for that team.

The St. Louis Post-Dispatch broke the story that McDaniels and Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo were set to meet. ESPN reported that the interview will take place today.

In an interview with the paper on Friday, McDaniels declined to confirm that he would be talking to the Rams, saying: "I'll respect the chain of command if you will in that regard. I don't want to be talking out of school about what I am doing, what I'm not doing."

McDaniels, 34, went on to say the Rams organization, "obviously is a great place" and added that he has known Spagnuolo for a few years. "It's a place that would interest anybody," McDaniels said.

The Rams, like the Vikings, ran the West Coast offense this season, and though McDaniels would change the system, he would do it while working with quarterback Sam Bradford, the first pick overall in the NFL draft last April. The Vikings aren't yet sure who will be their quarterback in 2011.

"[St. Louis is] an exciting place because I think they have everything just going in the right direction there," McDaniels said. "And that's a credit to Steve and Billy [Devaney, the Rams general manager] and everybody there in the organization. We'll see how it all plays out, but I'd be excited, too."

McDaniels, head coach of the Denver Broncos the past two seasons and before that the offensive coordinator for New England, interviewed with the Vikings on Jan. 7. The organization has not commented on any of its interviews to fill assistant coaching positions, and at this point it has been assumed that McDaniels remains in the mix for the Vikings job. Darrell Bevell, who served as offensive coordinator under former coach Brad Childress, currently holds that title.

Childress, meanwhile, is expected to be in Miami today to talk to Dolphins officials about becoming their offensive coordinator. Childress and Spagnuolo are good friends and some consider Childress a good fit for the Rams job because he would keep the West Coast scheme that was used by Pat Shurmur, who left as the Rams offensive coordinator this week to become coach of the Cleveland Browns.

The Post-Dispatch reported the Rams had no known interview scheduled with Childress, but a member of a St. Louis radio station put on his Twitter account that an interview with Childress was expected  to take place Monday or Tuesday.

By that point, however, there is a chance McDaniels already could be named as the man to run the Rams offense.

Daily Norseman Colin Kaepernick playing on ESPN right now!

Colin Kaepernick has the strongest arm since Brett Favre!

The following came directly from wikipedia:

2010 season

Entering the 2010 NCAA season, Kaepernick ranks #1 among active college football players in rushing touchdowns. He is second in Yards Per Carry (behind Wolf Pack teammate Vai Taua), Total Offense per Game, and Touchdowns Scored. He ranks #3 in Yards per Play and #4 in pass touchdowns and Total Number of Offensive Plays.

Kaepernick was a counselor at the prestigious MPA event in Thibodaux, Louisiana, during the 2010 camp. He had an impressive showing, drawing praise from various NFL and ESPN personnel including former New York Giants QB Jesse Palmer who said of Kaepernick, "by far, the strongest arm in the camp".[4]

It was also announced that Kaepernick, along with teammates Taua and Lippincott will have a display in the College Football Hall of Fame commemorating their being the first players in NCAA history to each break 1,000 yards rushing on the same team during the same season. [5] Kaepernick has been named to the watch list for six major college football awards: the Manning Award, the O'Brien Award, the Paul Hornung Award, the Maxwell Award, the Unitas Award, and the Walter Camp Award.

On November 26, Kaepernick led his team to a 34-31 overtime victory against the previously undefeated Boise State Broncos, snapping a 24 game win streak that had dated back to the 2008 Poinsettia Bowl. This game was played on Nevada's senior night, the final home game for Kaepernick and fellow notable senior running back Vai Taua. Nevada Head Coach Chris Ault would later call this game the "most important win in program history." During this game, Kaepernick surpassed 1,000 rushing yards for this season, becoming the first player in NCAA history to have over 2,000 yards passing and 1,000 yards rushing for 3 consecutive seasons. Along with Taua's 131 yards rushing in the game, the duo became the NCAA's all time leaders in rushing yards by teammates (8,285) passing the legendary SMU duo of Eric Dickerson and Craig James (8,193) known as the "Pony Express".".[6]

On December 4 against Louisiana Tech University, Kaepernick joined Florida's Tim Tebow as the second quarterback in FBS history to throw for 20 touchdowns and run for 20 in the same season. Later that same evening, Auburn's Cam Newton joined Tebow and Kaepernick as the third. Kaepernick's three rushing touchdowns in that game also placed in him in a tie with former Nebraska QB and Heisman Trophy winner Eric Crouch for most rushing TD's in NCAA history by a quarterback with 59 in his career.

Kaepernick currently stands as the only quarterback in the history of Division I college football to have passed for over 9,000 yards and rushed for over 4,000 yards in a collegiate career and also as the only QB to have passed for over 2,000 yards and rushed for over 1,000 yards in a single season three times in a career (consecutively).

Daily Norseman Vikings Name Leslie Frazier Eighth Head Coach In Team History

Head Coach Leslie Frazier - Jan. 3 @ 4:15 p.m. CST

Watch live as Leslie Frazier is named Vikings Head Coach..

Eden Prairie, MN (January 3, 2011) - The Minnesota Vikings and Leslie Frazier have reached an agreement that will remove the interim tag from Frazier’s title and make him the eighth head coach in franchise history.

Frazier’s hiring follows his appointment as the team’s interim head coach for the final six games of the 2010 season. Under Frazier, the Vikings finished 3-3, including 2-1 on the road after losing the previous nine consecutive away games.

Even more notable than the wins was Frazier’s consistent composure and steady guidance during the tumultuous final four weeks of the season. In that time the Vikings were forced to play home games at Detroit’s Ford Field and the University of Minnesota’s TCF Bank Stadium following the roof collapse at Mall of America Field at the Metrodome in early December. Frazier also led the Vikings to an upset victory against the NFC East Champion Philadelphia Eagles last week after a winter snow storm forced the Vikings to spend three nights in a Philadelphia hotel.

“We are very excited to announce Leslie Frazier as the new Head Coach of the Minnesota Vikings,” said Vikings Owner/President Mark Wilf. “Leslie is well-respected by our players, coaches and front office staff and has proven to be a winner on the field at every level of playing and coaching. He has a strong presence in the locker room and is an excellent leader, as demonstrated during some of the recent challenges we have faced.”

Prior to being named interim head coach, Frazier served as the Vikings defensive coordinator from 2007-10, adding Assistant Head Coach to his title in 2008. His defensive units have ranked in the top 10 in each of the last three seasons (#6 in 2008, #6 in 2009 and #8 in 2010) while notching 162 sacks from 2007-10 (40.5 avg. per season), the 5th-most of any NFL team during that time. Under Frazier, the Vikings defense allowed the 2nd-fewest rushing yards per game (85.1 avg.) and the 9th-fewest points per game (20.4 avg.) in the NFL over the last four years.

“We are thrilled that Leslie Frazier will continue to lead this football team,” said Vikings Owner/Chairman Zygi Wilf. “Our players and entire organization have great respect for Leslie. He has a vast knowledge of the game, both as a former player and as a coach, and he has a terrific way with those who play for him and work with him. We are very fortunate to have him as our Head Coach and look forward to many successful years together.”

Frazier has a total of 18 years in the NFL – 12 as a coach and six as a player – and has won Super Bowl titles in both roles. His first title came as a starting cornerback with the 1985 Chicago Bears in Super Bowl XX, and he later won Super Bowl XLI as a defensive backs coach with the Indianapolis Colts. In his 12 NFL seasons and 11 years of collegiate coaching experience, Frazier has suffered losing seasons only twice. Over the last 12 years, he has coached on seven playoff teams and has been a part of six division championships.

“I could not have asked for a better opportunity in the National Football League,” saidFrazier. “The Wilf family has continually shown dedication to building a world-class football organization and is a tremendous family to work with as we try to create and sustain a Championship-caliber team. I have a deep respect for our players and those within the organization that I have gotten to know over the last four years and I am very happy to lead our football team moving forward.”

As well as Frazier is known for his coaching abilities, he is also recognized for his community involvement off the field. He works closely with All-Pro Dad, an organization that stresses the importance of fathers taking an active role in the lives of their children and putting family first, and he and his wife, Gale, continue to be involved in the Vikings community efforts.

Daily Norseman Harvin says Favre's the Best Ever!

Here we go! Percy Harvin out of his own mouth, says Favre is the Best QB who has ever played the game.

Doesn't that sound like: "Brett Favre is the Greatest QB in NFL History, Bar None!" I think so.

It is nice to be validated by the toughest wide receiver in the NFL.

The New Collective Bargaining Agreement........................will not be struck until the 11th hour!

What does that mean?

No minicamps, no OTA’s, and a condensed training camp…………………………….

Only solution at that hour is of course………..Brett Favre!

Daily Norseman SHUT UP FRAN ALREADY................

Fran Tarkenton again ripped Brett Favre for the 100th time in less then 2 years it seems like. Can the old bitter man please Shut the Heck Up Already?

Fran Tarkenton calls Brett Favre Selfish! I'll tell you what selfish is.....................................................................

The Vikings celebrated their 50th anniversary on Sunday by holding a gala for the 50 greatest players in franchise history. Most of them, including the famed defensive line of Jim Marshall, Alan Page, Gary Larsen and Carl Eller, stuck around for the game to be honored at halftime. Fran Tarkenton decided not to show up!

Oh by the way Fran, Brett Favre gives the Vikings the Best Chance to Win................................................

Also Fran, Brett ended his start streak at 297..............not selfish!

Please get with reality, but I believe that is too much to ask!

Listen to Fran in his own words try to tell Tony Bruno why he wormed his way out of appearing at halftime of last monday night's game. SELFISH written all over it, then he continued to call out Brett Favre......................

http://www.975thefanatic.com/teams/eagles/blogentry.aspx?BlogEntryID=10183936

The following is a written version of the interview...................................

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2010/12/23/fran-tarkenton-brett-favre_n_800943.html

Former Minnesota Vikings quarterback Fran Tarkenton spoke with 97.5 The Fanatic in Philadelphia on Wednesday and ripped current Vikings quarterback Brett Favre for starting in Monday night's game against the Chicago Bears.

"It's absolutely selfish," Tarkenton said. "With Brett Favre -- he talks about the team, and I'm for the team and I want to play for my home fans and my teammates. It was Monday Night Football last week. He hadn't had enough publicity in the last week."

Tarkenton also said that Favre should have taken "himself out of the equation and say 'This is not best for the team.'"

Favre started against the Bears, despite a sprained shoulder and being declared out on Saturday. He was knocked out of the game in the second quarter after sustaining a head injury.

Tarkenton went on to say that backup quarterback Joe Webb gives the Vikings a better chance to win.

Daily Norseman Sidney Rice calls speculation "bull"

Sidney Rice calls speculation "bull"

Posted by Josh Katzowitz

We talked earlier today about whether Sidney Rice could miss the rest of the season as he recovers from hip surgery – and if the Vikings don’t active him off the Physically Unable to Play list by Nov. 24, that decision gets real easy (because he’d be out automatically).

And really, like last week when coach Brad Childress left it up to Rice whether he could play (he decided he couldn’t), the decision ultimately will be Rice’s to make.

Apparently, Rice felt the need to explain his actions from last week – or, you know, lack of actions – on his official website.

In a post titled, “A Bunch of Bull,” Rice writes it’s, um, “bull” that people think he might not return this year because he feels his paycheck isn’t large enough. He disputes that notion.

An excerpt from his blog post:

You can ask any of the news people around here, not once have I spoken about a contract or wanted money. My objective is to get out on the field and play when I’m healthy and it has nothing to do with my contract.

If you know anything about the CBA, if the contract doesn’t get done I still have to be here two more years anyway, so what’s going on now is definitely not about my contract.

That’s a bunch of bull. I wouldn’t dare do the fans or my teammates like that.

Times like these, some news people just need stories to create and I guess me not getting back on the field yet is something they want to use.

I just want you fans to know that the surgery I had was very serious. It’s not like I’m coming back from a pulled hamstring and can run back out there. There’s way more to it than that. Believe me when I tell you I’m pushing to get back on the field.

He’d like to do that this week. Rice wrote that the plan is for him to play this Sunday, but “it will come down to a Saturday decision.”

Sidney Rice's agent still expects him to play this season

Vikings WR Sidney Rice's agent Drew Rosenhaus still expects his client to be activated by next Wednesday and to play this season according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.

Rosenhaus: "I'm hopeful he will be healthy enough to play this week. We've never given any consideration to him not playing this season."

Favre + Rice + Harvin + AD = a total domination of the Green bay Packers!

Daily Norseman Payback is here Belichick!

Everyone remembers spygate.........The New England Patriots Cheating Ways!

It was figured that the New England Patriots & Belichick were taping other teams offenses for nearly 7 years.

The beginning of the end of their cheating ways began on Nov. 19, 2006 at Lambeau Field.

On that day Packers security caught a Patriots photographer videotaping from the sideline and made him stop.

That day the New England Patriots beat Favre and the Green bay Packers 35-0, holding the Packers Offense to 120 total yards (no INTs from Favre, but obviously no TDs from Favre). Tom Brady threw for 4 TDs...............

I was in Lambeau Field that day, and I had a sickening feeling like never before. I saw the Packers being manhandled without a clue. Favre's news conference after the game was filled with bewilderment. I swore that Favre and the Packers would get their Revenge in either a Super Bowl or the next time they met in the regular season in Foxborough in 2010. I never thought it would be Favre and the Vikings....................

In 2006 Belichick and the Patriots took their cheating ways to a new Sophisticated level by videotaping the opposing teams sidelines and signaling in game signs......................................................................

Today is October 31st, 2010..........Happy Halloween................but more importantly REVENGE for a beat down that never would have occured without the assistance from the cheating side.

I had to wait till12:01 am today to tell all my fellow Daily Norseman, the ones that like me, the ones that tolerate me, and the ones that despise me the reasoning for my unwillingness to tolerate anything but a Favre start and win!

I know Favre remembers that day, like it was yesterday..........it will be a huge motivation in his play today!

Cheaters alway get what is rightfully theirs.....................a good old fashioned ash whooping!

P.S. The Vikings fell to the Patriots that same year 31-7 in the Metrodome on October 30, 2006.............

Tom Brady threw for 4 TDs .......................................................................................

Makes u wonder if there was a Patriots Photographer on the Vikings sidelines??????????

We all know the answer: Hell Yes there was!

Daily Norseman Favre Breaking News....................

Straight from Winter Park...............Brett Favre was walking around without the walking boot.

What does that mean?

Answer: Brett Favre will start for the Vikings versus the Patriots this Sunday!

Brett Favre gives the Vikings the best chance to win by far.

Brett Favre will lead the Vikings to a Victory over the Cheaters, Guaranteed!

Brett Favre will fight to the end, as usual.

Tom Brady will realize what the Greatest QB in NFL History looks like, after he gets outplayed by him.

Daily Norseman To all Favre Haters..........................

To all you Favre Haters out there,

"Favre is not to blame for the 2-4 start!"

If you are going to blame anyone, blame the coach!

Conservative play calling, no killer instinct, and no idea how to use the Greatest QB in NFL History!

The scary part is that Chilly doesn't think the process is defective......................................

Keep feeding the ball to AD, and everything will be fine.......................................................

NO it won't be!

The Vikings need to get a lead, then feed the ball to the best RB in the League.

How you get that lead is on the arm of the Greatest QB in NFL History.

More screens needed, more dink and dunks needed (Favre has the strongest arm in the game, he can throw those short passes quicker then anyone else.) Then you can throw it up to Randy Moss. For goodness sakes, the Vikings got Harvin and Camarillo for the short passes.

Use AD 35%, Use Favre 65%.................not vice versa!

A Gimpy Favre is a 100 times better option then a healthy T. Jackson. Come On Man!

All those that are sreaming to sit Brett Favre are crazy, and out of their minds!

I am taking notes of all who are jumping off our best option to win a Super Bowl., and when I am proven right..........you all will hear from me repeatedly!

Guaranteed!

Daily Norseman REVENGE FACTOR!

HERE IS THE REVENGE FACTOR IN A NUT SHELL AGAIN...................................

Even though Brett Favre has waffled in his decision to play each year, he has had the burning passion to eventually play!!!!

Ted Thompson  should have seen that in him, since TT was with the Packer organization well before he became GM. (1992-1999)

This is the point no one gets, and it is soooooooo clear......

I, Revenge4Favre, saw & knew long ago that Brett Favre could easily play into his 40's. I told my dad when Favre was 27 that he would play into his 40's. So Favre's waffling I knew came from his exhausion from playing a whole year giving his 110% every game.

Favre's 110% effort needed to be rested and revived in each off-season.

So by TT ignoring the fact of Favre's burning desire to play the game with the passion he did, and selecting Rodgers with the 1st pick of his tenure as GM sealed the deal that Rodgers would replace Favre eventually as the QB of the Green Bay Packers.

TT should have known the leadership of one Brett Lorenzo Favre, and that he would have never left the Packers until the Packers were ready with a replacement for him.

Favre wasn't ready to retire when he did, TT was pushing the legend out before the legend was ready to move on.

TT takes full responsibility for the release of Brett Favre as a Green Bay Packer. It is so Black and White.

Coming off a 13-3 season, and one game away from the Super Bowl. He, Ted Thompson, did not call the legend and tell him that they needed him to lead them again into battle. No he sat on the sidelines and waited to see if the legend would retire and to see his first round draft choice given the chance to lead his team.

So what should have been done with a 3 year old overrated unappreciative arrogant punk of a bench warmer in Aaron Rodgers????????.......TT & Mike McCarthy should have went to Rodgers and told him that he was the future of the Packer Organization. TT should have restructured his contract from 2 years left to 5 years at let's say $25 Million. Rodgers would have been fine with that. Brett then would have remained the Face of the Franchise and starter for the 2008 Green Bay Packers

Brett Favre should have retired as a Green Bay Packer, when he was good and ready to retire.

So REVENGE will come, and it will be SWIFT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

TED THOMPSON TRASHED THE NAME OF A LEGEND.................................................

Now the Legend has comeback for a little payback AGAIN!

Favre will lead the Vikings to Vitory twice this year over the Green Bay Packers AGAIN.

Favre will lead the Vikings to a Victory in Super Bowl XLV!

REVENGE will then be REALIZED AGAIN!

HOW SWEET IT IS! REVENGE IS SWEET!

REVENGE IS SERVED BETTER COLD!

In the end Favre when officially retired, will claim REVENGE was a big motivating factor for his retun to the the NFL and the Minnesota Vikings. Until then, Favre must stay political.

Daily Norseman REVENGE4FAVRE vs Jenn Sterger........................

Here is my opinion on this Beotch. She is a Publicity Whore. When you read the original article by Deadspin, the  proof is in the pudding.

http://deadspin.com/5603701/brett-favre-once-sent-me-cock-shots-not-a-love-story

Here it is out of her own mouth........dong-shot senders. R U Kidding me? I guess not. I and probably 99.9999999% of the Daily Norseman Readership have never heard  of such a thing.................

Last winter, close to the Super Bowl, Ms. Sterger and I were discussing a possible collaboration on the proposed "Deadspin Swimsuit Project," which turned into a conversation about the whole "athlete dong photo" phenomenon. She claimed that she's been on the receiving end of several of those types of cell phone interactions by drunk men, some of whom were professional athletes. We later had a phone conversation about who some of the more well-known dong-shot senders were. One person, she claimed, who was very into cell phone-donging her was none other than Brett Favre.

So if Jenn Sterger has been sent numerous dong-shots, how does anyone take this stupid beotch's words for the truth, and how does she keep track of all the dongs on her computer?

Lies, lies, lies, lies, and more lies!

Daily Norseman Why did Naufahu Tahi go outside on 4th down.

Why hasn't this been addressed? Why did Naufahu Tahi  go outside on 4th down. Why didn't our FB go inbetween the tackles with AD following him. WTF? It is so basic, what happened there? Was the play supposed to go outside and AD decided not to follow his FB? Please, what is going on?

Watch the 2:37 minute of the clip:

What is a Full Back supposed to do? Answer: Make a hole for the Half Back!

If anyone heard the explaination of what happened there, please comment here. Thanks.

Daily Norseman Listen to Favre in his own words.....................

Listen to Favre in his own words telling everyone he does not have enough to work with. Favre basically calling Berrian out, telling him he thinks his heart is in it, but he doesn't have what it takes. He also said that there was no Chester Taylor.

To blame Favre for what is going on is totally ridiculous.

Favre is not rusty. Favre is trying his hardest. Favre is trying to make plays.

Favre has come here to win, period.

Get Favre what he needs, or get what is around him to produce at the highest level they can.

20 years in the League, at the toughest position, should warrant someone listening to what he needs.

Daily Norseman Chilly, Quit being a namby pamby!

Why did Rick Spielman trade for Camarillo, when he's not being used? The Vikings need him to produce, NOW!

Also where are the screen plays in this offensive?

Favre has no options out there, other then over the middle to Shank!

Harvin is a none factor, for some unknown reason. BB can't get separation.

Bevell needs to step up his game also.

Chilly better get Favre what he needs to succeed, NOW!

Chilly better establish dominance right off the first snap of next weeks game...................slow starts suck!

ESTABLISH DOMINANCE CHILLY. Quit being a namby pamby!

Daily Norseman packallday555 accusing Favre of staging retirement!

Read the article and comments posted by packallday555 on ACME Packing Company:

http://www.acmepackingcompany.com/2010/9/15/1691313/interesting-insight-on-the-moss-to

packallday555 is accusing Favre of staging his retirement on March 4th, 2008, so he could play for another team.

packallday555 is out of his mind, like all the other brain washed Teddy T kool-aid drinkers are.

Let's get this straight. Teddy T should have signed Randy Moss for a one year contract in 2007.

Teddy T knew Favre wanted the talented receiver, because Favre knew 2007 could be his last chance to win another Super Bowl.

It was a no brainer steal of a deal to sign Moss to a one year deal. Who cares about 2008? Not Brett Favre, or anyone who wanted the Pack to win now.

Teddy T's EGO got in the way, and he dismissed the Legends request, solidifying his plans on pushing Favre out of the picture.

Also No One, including Brett Favre, expected  Moss not to resign with the Patriots after the season Moss & Brady had.

Any correlation between Randy Moss signing with the Patriots on March 3rd, 2008 and Brett staging his retirement on March 4th to play with another team is uterly ridiculous.

Brett Favre just lost the NFC Championship Game 6 weeks earlier!

Favre was beat down and tired and had enough he thought.

Teddy T showed no support for Favre in those 6 weeks leading to Favre's retirement announcement.

Teddy T's EGO won, and Teddy T knew it.

Favre had no chance in returning to the Pack in 2008....................................

When Favre flew into Green bay for Family Night 2008, he totally expected to start for the Green Bay Packers in 2008. I was there at the airport when Favre flew in, and saw a Legend fully expecting that outcome.

Teddy T & Mike McCarthy were not looking back as soon as they forced Favre to retire. They even convinced their overrated arrogant unappreciative punk of a QB that no way would Favre return to Green Bay in 2008.........

Hey Mr. Rodgers..............I bet then you didn't think Favre was coming back to kick your sorry ass multiple times?

On March 4th, 2008, Favre simply had enough of Teddy T's unappreciative stance to himself..........and figured he had nothing else to accomplish in the game. The only error on Favre's part, was he didn't realize that he would not be able to play the game he had so passionately played for so long ever again.

Favre started having second thoughts almost immediately, and the Packers Brass knew it too.

Instead of embracing the Face of the Franchise, they ignored the situation and made feeble attempts to bring him back. (We've moved on.) Again Teddy T had other plans.

This is how it went down. I am confident once it comes out in the wash, that Favre never wanted to play anywhere else then Green bay.

Eventually, the only option was to play elsewhere. REVENGE was now the only option, and Favre grabbed it with both hands tightly.

p.s. Loyalty is not one of the Packer Fans greatest attributes, at least for 75% of Packer Nation. The other 25 % of Packer Nation is still loyal to Brett Favre and blame Teddy T for not allowing Favre to play in 2008 (those are the ones that will show no mercy to Teddy T once the Pack start to lose!)

p.s.s Their are another loyal percent like myself who have become Viking Fans for life.

Daily Norseman Why wasn't Camarillo used exclusively?

Well I just woke up from my flight back home from New Orleans, and I am not happy about the sets the Vikings Offense used against the Saints last night.

Why would Chilly not have used Camarillo exclusively in their offensive sets last night?

Instead you line up Kleinsasser constantly on the outside as a wideout, what was that?

Did I miss something in the 3rd preseason game against Seattle, where Favre and Camarillo hooked up exclusively and looked comfortable in doing so, plus they had 2 1/2 weeks to solidify that relationship?

If Favre had at least the option to go to Camarillo, the Vikings undeniably would have won the game.

Chilly needs to be questioned, no doubt.

Daily Norseman Mariucci defends Favre......................

http://www.nfl.com/videos/minnesota-vikings/09000d5d819921dc/Favre-watch-HOF-edition

Sayers, Woodson, & Irvin can go jump off a bridge! Watch the old coach stay cool and collective as he defends the Greatest QB in NFL History, Bar None. Why so much hostility from Sayers, Woodson, & Irvin? I just don't get it. Even The Commish of the NFL stated: "Brett Favre is great for our game. And I think the passion he has for the game is extraordinary," Goodell said. "I think we all love to see him play, but we want him to do what's best for him at the end of the day." Hey Woodson 16-17 years is not the same as 20-21 years in the league, please get with reality.

If anyone missed this video of Favre (himself) refuting the allegations of his retirement, here it is:
