So it seems that for a while now Grantham has been the focus of this defensive coordinator search. And that there are rumors that we might have him already. What I don't get is why we can't know about it. I know he probably wants to avoid being a distraction to the Cowboys which is nice and everything. But I also know that everyone knew Pelini was leaving for Nebraska as LSU prepared for the NCG and that Florida knew Mullin would be headed to Starkville as they prepared for the NCG. So if a college coordinator can let everyone know he's going to leave, shouldn't an NFL D-Line coach be able to do the same? After all, UGA is affected by the news too. Who knows how antsy some of our verbal commitments on defense are getting.

And if we don't actually have Grantham yet, well we'd better move on because this has taken so long and it's really late. Hopefully Richt has several other options if Grantham is still up in the air. We better not have to sit and let a potential Dallas Cowboys playoff run cause problems for us. That'd be pretty disappointing.
