According to Sac Bee, Artest's agent Mark Stevens said Artest likey won't opt out.
"Of course (Artest not being traded) changes a lot of about your perspective; a lot of things change," said Stevens, whose client will earn $7.4 million next season if he doesn't opt out. "Exercising our option at this point is possible, but not likely."8 comments | 0 recs

According to ESPN, Artest is no longer lobbying for a trade. I honestly think we should keep building for the future. Artest needs to be traded. This guy changes his mind too much. I rather get something in return, instead of letting him walk away and become a FA.
