According to ESPN, Artest said it was a big mistake for him not to opt out and does not see himself in a Kings uniform beyond 2008-09.

Sam Amick is reporting that Artest emailed the Bee saying he indeed may opt out. Artest needs to make up his mind already. This is not really breaking news for anybody.

Chad Ford have us drafting Jerryd Bayless in the first and Mike Taylor and Devon Hardin in the second round. If this happens on draft day, I would be one happy Kings fan.
According to Draftexpress, Kings will use one of their second round picks on Mike Taylor.

According to Sac Bee, Artest's agent Mark Stevens said Artest likey won't opt out.
"Of course (Artest not being traded) changes a lot of about your perspective; a lot of things change," said Stevens, whose client will earn $7.4 million next season if he doesn't opt out. "Exercising our option at this point is possible, but not likely."

According to ESPN, Artest is no longer lobbying for a trade. I honestly think we should keep building for the future. Artest needs to be traded. This guy changes his mind too much. I rather get something in return, instead of letting him walk away and become a FA.

First post, been following this site for about over a year now finally decided to join. Hope this wasn't a useless Diary entry. I thought it was interesting. Video from TMZ shows Ron Artest, Quincy And Justin Williams getting rejected from a night club called Villa. Apparently the owners did not know Ron and his entourage. This was from yesterday. Villa Nightclub is located in West Hollywood. Looks like Ron,Q, and Justin decided to go to the club after their loss to the Clippers.
